Just think of 15' hinges on hundreds-of-years-old doors. Imagine a super large dining table that can handle 2-22 people, all together speaking 5 or 6 languages. We spoke French, they spoke/practiced their English. L'Occitane shampoo, shower gel, etc. We talk about it as one of our best experiences ever. Wonderful hosts - the husband is the chef also. The B&B... More

Beautiful setting, building and room; warm welcome by Geraldine et Robert; excellent dinner with a whole range of self-produced and -prepared products, local wines... Hardly typical for France, the breakfast was most notable: many homemade marmelades (poires et amandes), various local honeys, homemade bread, brioche and cake (oven-warm), compote, muesli, yogurt... Highly recommended!

Me and my wife were very welcomed by Geraldine on our arrival in this wonderful 18th century house and we truly had a great stay. The house is on the outskirts of Manosque (5-10 min drive), just far enough to have an isolated and calm atmosphere. It is surrounded by trees and a garden where, depending on the weather, breakfast... More

The Bastide l'ardech in Manosque is a renovated house from the 16th century, and we were very excited to be there. The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated with old furniture, and the place is full of charm. Geraldine is nice and welcoming and provided great travel tips of less crowded villages to visit. Robert is a great cook... More

One of our most memorable stays. Robert and Geraldine welcomed us to their 16c country home. Robert, who is a published chef, prepared a meal for all the guests, and then he and Geraldine joined us all for dinner. What a treat. Ask for the corner room at the front of the house. Terrific views.

Worth the trouble finding , if only for the warm welcome. But there was much more to enjoy. Geraldine , as others have said , is a tremendous hostess always ready to help and advise. Even though Robert was not too well he prepared a lovely meal, the taste of the entree was, itself , worth the trip. The room... More

The hidden house frustrates a bit when you try to find it, but when we did we were amazed by the singularity of this place. A unique old house with nice views and charming common areas where you can have breakfast. Geraldine is an incredible host ready to answer any question related to gastronomy, travel around Provence and stories about... More

This is a great place, once you find it, which was a little challenging! We found Manosque a little confusing and the driveway up to the farm house is a little rough. The inn is a historic building that is being carefully and slowly restored by the hosts after being empty for many years and has enormous character. Our room... More

We spent two nights at this outstanding B&B situated close to the pleasant city of Manosque. The Bastide is a wonderful old building lovingly restored by its present owners. Our room on the second floor had stunning views over the provencal countryside. We were amazed by the quality of our half board meals. There was a variety of jams and... More

La Bastide is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast with tons of character. The house is beautiful, and the rooms and bathroom comfortable and spacious. The dinner with our charming hosts Geraldine and Robert and other guests was delicious and the whole experience one of the highlights of our trip.
