Stayed here one night only on a cycle touring holiday. 35 of us arrived soaking wet, very cold and tired. The staff got us checked in quickly and efficiently. Lovely rooms, Nice location. Really helpful and friendly staff. Would have loved to have stayed longer. Thank you.

Second time in this Hotel - Apart Hotel. Stayed (again) in one of the apartments (Summertime) . Fantastic view on the Meije. Good location. Apartment and also the kitchen has everything you need. It is clean. Well maintained. The service from the owners is very good and friendly. The owners build and created this place 17 years ago, you can...

We have stayed at the Hotel Chalets de la Meije twice since it opened. It is modern, well appointed and very clean. The staff are helpful but business like. This is a place marked by efficiency if not warmth. Breakfast offerings are quite broad but pretty much the same every morning. Wonderful view of the glacier. The rooms and apartments...

The hotel is ideally located and i came here few times since the opening 15+ y ago. Many changes and the place is much bigger than it was. Rooms are clean and nice while a bit noisy and some improvements can be done to the bathroom. The experience is anyway very good when you know the price is really reasonable....

We rented a chalet. First thing we have to say is that the view of the mountains is superb from the hotel. On arrival I found out I messed up myself with the reservation. We had twin beds, but wanted one big bed. It was entirely my fault,my French is rubbish. The owner of the hotel however solved the problem right...

We spent 6 nights at the Chalets de la Meije in July 2014with another couple, and had a really good experience. In fact, the couple we were travelling with were returning and the owners remembered them when we arrived which was a lovely touch! The location is great - right in La Grave which is a lovely town. Lots of...

The acomodation was a let down. Rooms were not cleaned regularly - nor were the towels changed all week. The communal area toilets were dirty and there were no hand towels for three days running. Dirty cups and mugs were often left lying around. A disappointing accomodation largley due to the unprofesionalism and lazyness of the staff.

We diverted over the mountains on our way to the South and could not have been happier with our stay. We enjoyed a ground floor suite comprising a lovely living/dining area, a small kitchenette and a separate en-suite bedroom. There was also a nice outside terrace to sit and enjoy the magnificent view. Good parking facilities and an excellent buffet...

We found the Chalets by chance some years ago and keep returning there - the appartments are beautiful, well equipped and clearn, spacious and with a homely+warm atmosphere. The hosts of the Chalets are very friendly and helpful, and the views from the Chalets are just amazing.

We stayed in La Grave for eight nights as the base for day hikes. The hotel was ideal. The manager(s) and team were very welcoming; the continental style buffet breakfast (inside or on the terrace) was excellent; and our room, with balcony and view of la Meije, was clean, very comfortable and attentively serviced. In the end we didn't use...
