The views are unbelievable. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast show why it is Michelin star honored. The service at the restaurant top notch as well. The place is quiet, romantic, and a great contrast to some of the hustle and bustle in Nice. So no regrets that my wife and I ended our France trip with two nights here. However, it does not get five starts because I think it takes what is given to them a bit for granted. The views and ambience and the setting is so amazing that the hotel seems to have rested on that. I think the place needs a major update. The brown tiles are from the 70;s. The beds looking out to the sea are old, some of the covers are ripped up etc... I did find it strange that sometimes there was no place to park our car. These are minor details, and my wife and I truly enjoyed our stay. But when you are asking close to 4 figure prices per night, I think there are things that need to be done to validate that.…
Gorgeous small, quiet, tranquil hotel - amazing views, wonderfully welcoming staff, luxury break. Espy enjoyed the tranquility at the pool and the Balinese beds. And everyone working there was first class - they enhanced cour stay. Thank you all - we really enjoyed it 😎
Beautiful hotel. Super friendly staff. Off the beaten path location ensures quiet and privacy. Outstanding views - really incredible. Epitomizes what Relais & Chateaux property should be. So glad we had the chance to stay here.
The good: Amazing view & location, nice room, quality in house dining in a Michelin * Restaurant the bad: Service and reactivity... In the luxury price category Yaktsa wants to play the details have to work. They don't... really not examples: - Suite (!) not ready at 16:00 in the afternoon - Concierge suggets I park my car myself.... and guess what when leaving, even so giving feedback had to collect my car also myself - Welcome drink... we had to wait 25mins for a glas of wine... that was ready beside reception - In the room a power plug was pointed out especially for hair drying which... didn't work. etc. there is more... the ugly: we are Regulars in Hotels like the Yaktsa, so we decided to give the feedback to Management after all chance to learn... Reaction to it was astonishing... actually NO reaction except a "thank you for this, it will help future guests. Honestly I have never seen a hotel on this level not even making a MINIMUM gesture to the customer.... AND letting me collect my own car afterwards... so "mess up the stay" and leave a bad aftertaste. Price performance subpar. From the Yaktsa we left to a Boutique Hotel in St.Tropez... have the price with a unbelievable service...…
We could not have had a better Anniversary and the first post-COVID trip. The Manager Sonia and her wonderful staff Ilona and Julian are staples of 5-star customer service. Everything was perfect and accommodating from the booking, check-in, and our entire stay. The room is spotless with a picture-perfect sea view terrace. The heated pool has the same dramatic cliff view. Day beds are the perfect place for Rose All Day. Their Michelin-starred restaurant L’Or Bleu is phenomenal; food, service, and impeccable wine pairing. I also highly recommend a spa treatment at their sister hotel with the masseuse Karim. It’s a beautiful 15 mins easy walk or 3 minutes hotel car ride. If you are looking for somewhere tranquil, easy, yet pampering, search no more.
This hotel is exceptional. we would definitely return. Our room was beautiful, the views, superb and the staff were amazing. Delicious food. The pool was very warm and it was so relaxing. Service was second to none.
For our honeymoon trip to France, we had booked a non-refundable rate prior to the COVID pandemic. I guess we were naive, but we thought there was no way we’d miss our honeymoon. Little did we know that a pandemic was about to break out! However, when the world went into lockdown, we had to reschedule our wedding and cancel our honeymoon since borders were suddenly closed. We reached out to this hotel hoping that they would provide a refund given that we were literally not allowed to travel to France. However, the hotel refused to even consider a refund and we lost thousands of dollars since this is not an inexpensive hotel. It was definitely our fault that we booked the rate we did, however we did hope they would have some compassion for the situation we were in. Unfortunately they did not (and we still haven’t been on a honeymoon!).…
Returned to Hotel Tiara Yaktsa Cote d'Azur for a night via Mr and Mrs Smith for the first time since 2017. Still amazing. Hotel has a stunning location with views over the sea and coast. The pool area is lovely with amazing double bed style loungers all with views. We benefitted from a last minute cancellation at the restaurant (book ahead!) and dined at L’Or Bleu. Beautiful terrace with again majestic views. The menu is very simple, either a EUR90 four course (with various l'amuse bouche) or EUR139 six course rising to EUR229 with wine. We opted for the EUR90 and it was absolutely fabulous. Breakfast was delicious. Loads of choice. No buffet, all table service. We stayed in Room 6 which was Deluxe Room with a sea view. It was so grand. Double aspect with views out to sea, lovely terrace overlooking the garden. Huge room with sofa, safe, fridge, coffee machine. Amazing shower/wet room. Free wifi and parking on site. Staff were so attentive without being overbearing. Could literally not do enough for us. Special mention to Elona on reception and the restaurant manager who were great.…
A lovely hotel with fabulous views over the Med. We stayed two nights in a deluxe sea-view room....not cheap but worth every penny. Lovely staff who couldn't have been more helpful. We ate both nights in their sister hotel and the food was spot on.
Stayed here for 4 nights in Junior Suite (Sea View) which was the best hotel on our trip. The staff are very helpful (blonde lady on reception and pool boy given extra praise) and will go above and beyond to make sure you have enjoyable stay. The hotel has only a small number of rooms which makes it perfect when you want to enjoy a quiet afternoon around the pool. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we were too late to book but room service did the trick especially with our balcony view. Parking is free and easy (the will also valet if needed). We had a afternoon SPA / pool day in their sister hotel which was nice but it did reaffirmed our decision to pick Tiara Yaktsa Cote d'Azur. Overall great place to stay if you want to get away from the hussle of tourist areas and enjoy the French Riviera views in peace.…
