Please check that it is Cavaliere that you want and not Cavalair. I made this mistake last year having booked on booking.com. When we arrived and realised we asked to cancel and they said I should do it through the bookings.com site as they had no control over re-imbersement. On speaking to b.com later, who were very helpful,I was told... More

Have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 20 years. It is excellent. The rooms are clean, the owners ( Guy and Mau) are very welcoming and above all you are just minutes from the beach. Good local restaurants, from Pizza's to Good fine dining on the beach. Great holiday base.

This hotel is across the road from an idyllic beach and within easy walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in the town. Very typical of family run independent hotels - somewhat quirky furnishings and decoration and rather dark in the communal areas. No English spoken by the owners and a somewhat perfunctory approach to customer service! Room had... More

The hotel is very close to the ocean and there is not a lot of noise if you stay on the side overlooking the hills, Cavaliere is a beautiful small town and the beaches are amazing. The telephone in the room did not work well and the wifi didn't work until the last day of our stay, aside from that... More

Very nice people owning the hotel. Rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Close to beach. Nice French breakfast offered at addition 10 euro per person. Quaint little bar and wifi area. Wifi does not work in rooms. Would return but would choose sea side rooms

Location is ok. Service was extremely poor. The owner and his wife should definitely change jobs as they apparently do not appreciate having clients. The rooms are simple, clean but do not ask for a room with see view as it is very noisy.

Location good to stroll into centre of town, rooms a little dated , however, it was value for money, esp as we hadn't booked in advance, breakfast adequate, parking available , (a huge bonus) reception service good, receptionist had great English and was very helpful and chatty, view from balcony, (just.., of the ocean) restaurants and shops close to walk... We stayed in 2 adjacent rooms with kids; rooms were simple, clean and with balconies. Just what we wanted for a few days on the beach - don't expect to be attracted back there during the day! Breakfast was adequate with lots of coffee and bread available. Just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and a few shops. My... More

Parking limited but otherwise no negative comments. Absolutely everything else can be classified as anywhere in between very good and excellent. My Wife & I really enjoyed our four night stay. The best nearby restaurant (both on quality and price) is "Sirenes" on the beach and opposite the Spar supermarket. Open all day but the evening dinner service starts at... More

This was great - it's less Le Lavandou and more Cavallion but it's right opposite the lovely, sandy beach (50yards across the road!) and near 2-3 restaurants. There's a small car park but if that's full there's a decent amount of set back, on street parking which was what we used. The room was quite quirky in it's decoration but... More
