We stayed a lovely night in Bandol and the Golf Hotel had a prime location on the beach that is sheltered from the waves. Our stay was greatly enhanced by Amelie, the host at the Golf Hotel. The airline had lost our luggage and we needed it shipped back to Paris. Amelie was so kind and sweet and helped us arrange everything and let us know when the bag was picked up. Amelie is the type of host you wish all hotel staff were like!
We enjoyed three nights at this hotel - the view of the beach and small bay was delightful. Amelia on reception and the lady who cleaned our room were both particularly helpful. Although the weather wasn't very good we managed to do the walk east along the coastal path to the calanque which was very scenic and enjoyable.
We stayed in a "family suite" which was a suite of 2 rooms. 1-st room had 2 twin beds. 2-nd room had a full bed and a twin bed. There was a lovely ocean view balcony off the 2-nd room. We had a small refrigerator in the room. The safe didn't work even after they came to "fix it" A coffeemaker in the room would have been nice. The beach was beautiful and calm. Beach towels were provided, but one set only. If we wanted them exchanged, there was a fee. Beach chairs were not included in the price of the room. They had to be reserved ahead of time at 15 euro per chair and 7 euro per umbrella. The hotel restaurant is right on the beach and serves burgers and other beach fare as well as drinks. \ Overall a nice family friendly budget resort.
Loved this little family-run hotel on the beach. We had the 'suite with loggia' which had 2 rooms with a shower and separate WC. Although only 3 of us, it would be ample space for a family of 4. We found the staff so kind, particularly helping with questions prior to arrival. Our rooms appeared to be recently refurbished. Everywhere was spotless and the breakfast was fine - the usual bread, croissants, yogurts & cereals. The beach was perfect and the water calm. Beware it costs 18 euros to rent a sunbed for the day and they should be reserved in advance. It's a 10 minute walk into the little town with a good choice of bars and restaurants. It has its own private (free) car park - very valuable in this part of the world. For a 2 star hotel it was brilliant and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to everyone except those who expect fancy 5 star facilities.…
Spend the day at this hotel by the beach where i rented sunbed from them, price is much better compare to the other one on the beach, much much cheaper! But saw the waiter only twice between 12pm and 6pm... they dont check up on you, and we took lunch from there on the sandwich side but they didnt have much choice but waitress was alone but so loevly trying hard to make sure everyone one was served as its was hard as she was alone on that part of the job... But nice options is they have a private shower and toilets for customers Note: view from the beach is incredible and beach get packed quickly so its a great spot at 18 euros for the sun bed for the day...
