Staying at La Regalido was an absolute delight. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly helpful, professional and nothing was too much trouble. The pool area was an oasis of calm and peace and provided a great place to cool off after exploring the local sites and cities. Dinner here was beautifully prepared and presented and my wife - as a vegetarian - was catered for without any problems. We had to wait 3 years to finally get to stay here but it was well worth the wait. Thanks to all at La Regalido for making our stay such a memorable one. One slight issue - the wi-fi - not great!

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. My room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. I found all of the staff very accommodating of our special requests. The on site restaurant prepared one of the most memorable dishes of my trip, creamy Parmesan risotto with truffles. To Die For! The pool was truly appreciated after a hot day sightseeing. The entire pool and outdoor seating areas offer many spots to appreciate Provence. The restaurant, Le Patio, is a short walk down the street. We enjoyed an excellent meal there as well. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone wanting to experience Provence. I would love to go back!!

We stayed in a building refurbished about a year ago. The room was spacious, the inclusion of a mini fridge, safe, and large closet made the room even better. The breakfasts on the terrace had varied content, and the setting was nice. Best of all, the staff was helpful and welcoming. We had dinner in their restaurant one night it was expensive but memorable. Highly recommended.

I would liked to give the resort 5 stars but there are a few shortcomings.Whilst I agree with many of the complimentary things mentioned in other reviews staff more than willing to answer and solve any query charming surroundings atmospheric quaint rooms I did have a few reservations .Charging €35 for parking totally inadequate lighting in our room and spotty internet being the main ones. While the small pool area is captivating it really is not sufficient when hotel is full.I would describe it as an ideal stopover for a night or two not sure about a long stay

The art of hospitality includes making guests feel welcome without intruding, ready to help when asked. It includes making the welcome feel strong both when the hotel is full or nearly empty. We arrived a bit later than planned on a busy Saturday and departed on a quiet Monday. Throughout our stay we felt at home in a lovely and distinctive Provencal home. Everywhere, in the public spaces, there is evidence of good decorating taste. Our Standard room was well crafted, decorated with some flair. There was an extremely comfortable bed, adequate lighting and space in the bathroom, quality toiletries and luxurious towels and an emphasis on cleanliness throughout. Saturday dinner, when the hotel was at capacity,, was served with grace and skill. While there were only two choices for each course, they were prepared masterfully. Breakfast here is delightful, with artisanal yogurt, fine breads, freshly squeezed juice and superb coffee. The quiet location, yet in the heart of the village, is ideal. We spend a lot of time planning our trips and have been fortunate to travel widely throughout France and much of Europe over the years. There is a splendid value and quality here that fully met our expectations. We will be pleased to recommend Villa Regalido to our discerning friends.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed an evening meal and breakfasts in the garden. The only downside is that the swimming pool is small for swimming in by adults. The hotel is ideally located near the centre of the village and for local attractions. Camille was particularly helpful with her suggestions for planning our trips out. We even extended our stay it was so enjoyable!

We just had five wonderful days in Provence staying at Villa Regalido in Fontvieille. What a wonderful place! The staff is warm, caring, fun and charming. If I lived near Fontvieille, I would want them as my best friends. There is no pretense here. Friendly joyous And a real France. Delphine et Olivier, the best! The breakfasts so good, and the lamb dinner superb. Our room, way up above the beautiful tile roofs of Fontvieille, was a bit of heaven, Quiet, gorgeous with views to Les Baux and Le Moulin de Daudet. My heart, I think I left it in Fontvieille at Regalido.

positive were the welcome and the prompt friendly service at all times. negatives were that the garden was a lot smaller and more crowded than the website indicates, but pretty nevertheless; and our room, superior and then upgraded was three star at best. no shower, and no working plug ( gone are the days when you had to take your own, but the modern torture is prising the plug open with fingernails because the connection to the bit by the taps has failed). floor covering in room was v oldfashioned as well. so ok but overpriced. dinner was good but not great. limited choice is normally ok with me but two dishes per course needs to change completely each day not just one dish a day. would not have eaten a third night running. had mostly fish which was fine bur very limited salad/ vegatable offerings. local wines good.everything was nice but not that memorable. recommended as convenient for arles and baux.service faultless. parking is charged for but there is free public parking within 100 m

Our recent trip to Provence included self-guided tours through Arles, perhaps the best way to walk through Roman architecture that survives and remains in use (including an amphitheater, although no Christians were consumed during our visit - as far as I could tell). The gold standard for us is a cozy welcoming villa that makes it hard to leave the premises. From fine dining on the patio, to sipping wine poolside lost in a book, to the easy professionalism of the staff - Villa Regalido exceeded our expectations all around. Lionel deserves special mention, as an exceptional host who charms you with bon mots such as “I’m the director here, I believe I can make this happen!” Upgrade to the Romarin room for a special treat - a private balcony that provides views I tried to capture in these photos, but could not do justice. When we return to Provence, we will ensure Regalido is a waypoint for us - a villa that can be a destination as much as a home base.
