If you travel by car on the motorway to/from Bordeaux, it is easy and convenient to stop there for a night or two. Rooms are clean and large enough, it is rather comfortable and quiet. But do not expect to have a nice surrounding...

My husband and I stayed here last night. We arrived tired and hungry having driven from Cherbourg. We chose this hotel because it is easily accessible from the motorway and because they allow pets. The rooms are very basic but they do provide all you need for the night. Some people would complain that it is too basic but I...

Arrived after a long trip from Folkestone hoping for dinner. No luck. The nice manager on duty informed us he was down 3 staff and fully booked. We went to our room which was not particularly pleasant and somewhat grubby. We also had two single beds instead of a double but possibly our own fault the way we booked. Bathroom...

Dear customer, Thank you for your feedback. Indeed, our restaurant was fully booked the evening of your arrival. My collegue prefered to refer you to another restaurant rather than make you wait in expectation of a table that we could not promise you. We take good note of your remarks concerning your bedroom. Best regards, Jeremy L.

I think many of the reviews here are harsh and my experience was very positive. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, decent bathrooms and a pefectly good breakfast. The staff were charming. For €55 per night I think you would work hard to find better.

Broken TV, expensive, the employes don't speak a word of English, impossible to be understanded. Poor service. It was a bad experience, I will never come back there!! The food was not very good, but it was acceptable. I advice to the travellers to look for another hotel in the area!!!

Dear customer, We thank you for your comment about your stay in our hotel. I am surprised when you say that our employes "don't speak a word of English". Most of my colaboraters speak at least one foreign language plus french. We feel sorry that your stay was not at your conveniance. Best regards, Jeremy L.

Spent a night here recently on a long drive from England to Southern Spain. Typical Campanile but just what you need for a stopover. Clean, efficient check in, large bathroom and decent sized towels. Nice to have coffee making facilities. We asked for a ground floor rooms at the back as we had our two small dogs with us and...

Dear Madam, We thank you for your comment about your stay in our hotel. Our breakfast is a continental "all you can eat" buffet. It is composed by pastries, ham, jam, coffee, milk, french bread (pérenne and baguette), fruits juices etc... We hope you will have the opportunity to taste it next time. Like most Campaniles, the hotel isn't in the prettiest part of town, but it's only a few minutes' drive to the centre. We haven't stayed at a Campanile since the chain had a big makeover some years ago. The food didn't seem as varied as it used to be, but the quality was still good and the price reasonable. The...
