Nice balcony with room to sit outside. Not particularly friendly at reception and the room is otherwise basic and functional. The area itself is very summer orientated , but it is a very cheap and short train journey to La Rochelle which is a great day out.

This is a basic, good honest hotel with very helpful staff. It is also very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast is what you would expect in a French hotel, but is of very good quality. Mainly consisting of sweet things, but typical of French hotels and of decent quality. The decor is a little dated, but it looks like...

You pay for the location at this small hotel right on the beach. The room is small and very basic with worn different coloured sanitary ware. We had to take turns to get ready. However, It was clean and had a small porch type terrace outside the patio door which was perfect for sitting in the evening enjoying a glass...

This is a two star hotel so don't expect great facilities. What you do get though is great value for money, excellent location and extremely helpful staff. The rooms are small, but clean and well presented. Ours had great sea views. A short walk of approximately five meters and you are on the beach. There is a great selection of...

We stayed for a few days and everything was perfect. The hotel is traditional, not the most modern but it's clean, nice with a great view on the sea and the team is truly nice. The rooms are a good size and friendly. A great stay in Chatelaillon only 10 minutes from La Rochelle.

We stayed here with our two dogs last year and all going well will return this year. The room was adequate and clean. It had a small conservatory looking onto the sea. The staff were lovely. Breakfast was typically continental.

I was there for 3 nights in two different bedrooms. The first one was quite nice, lot of space inside, the other one smaller and with a strange smell. The hotel is very well located, the staff was nice and friendly. It's a simple hotel with the basics for spending a nice night. it fulfill our needs for the weekend.
