Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights at the end of August. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The room really comfortable, clean and bright, good breakfast and although the pool looked very inviting unfortunately we didn't have time to use it, maybe next time we will.

Stayed at hotel for 4 nights at end of July. The first room we were given was 204 and was very small and basic. We enquired if we could upgrade and were offered room no.1 for 3 nights which was on the ground floor. This room was much better and had a wet room en-suite. We ate at the restaurant for... More

It just wasn't the same. As we had booked for 4 nights, dinner, bed, breakfast it would have been so nice to have been welcomed back but that didn't happen and throughout our stay the atmosphere was very cold and we felt unwelcome.sadly,as we have been driving to Chatelaillon for the past 15 years or so we shall investigate different options in the... We came upon this hotel purely by chance and I am so glad that we did. Just a few hundred yards to the beach and a short walk from the town. We had a really enjoyable stay. Parking outside it the street was not a problem, although there is a car park for a surcharge. We used the hotel once... More

Very pleasant stay. Comfortable furnishings. Good breakfast. Overall, good value for the price. But, it got very warm in the room; not enough ventilation. A fan would have been helpful. The hotel is well situated near teh beach, restaurants, and shops. I recommend this hotel for couples, or families with one or two older (8-13 years) children.

We enjoyed our visit to this hotel very much. The staff were without exception very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, bed extremely comfortable, shower and seperate toilet excellent, glimpse of the sea from our window. We also had the 26 Euros menu, and it was delicious, and beautifully presented - probably ranks amongst the best food we have... More

This hotel was selected as we were enroute from Spain back to Paris. It was all we expected in a quiet seaside town, just out of the Main Street so private and secure. We had a room with ensuite and everything was clean and tidy and functional. Staff were very helpful.

Heading for Ile de Ré from the south of France we overnighted at Chatelaillon-Plage and had the good fortune to find Hotel d'Orbigny. There we received a warrm welcome, a comfortable room, a superb shower facility and good breakfast at a very affordable price. Parking across the road was very convenient. We happened on this newly renovated hotel quite by accident. The rooms are nicely decorated with separate toilet and shower room. The reception was friendly and helpful. Wifi was free. Parking was on the pavement in front of the hotel. The whole hotel, as far as we could see, was newly decorated in a modern minimalist style. We did not... More

Pretty standard 2* French hotel. No complaints, the staff were pleasant and helpful, the room and whole hotel were spotless and the breakfast was ok for the price. Decor a bit dated but that's not going to spoil your stay. We took a three bed room as we can't stand the French idea of a double bed (140cm, that's only... More
