We have just returned from a pleasant trip to Calais. Plus points of the hotel: Staff all friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast one day and they didn't charge us :) Great location overlooking the beach, our window had a decent view (room 39) Decor was fine throughout the hotel, not dated. Tea and coffee facilities in room. Provisions...

We stayed for one night and arrived very late/ early ,3.30am. Front desk was open and we were quickly shown our rooms. The hotel was fine for the relatively cheap price we paid. Beds were comfortable and rooms a good size. Bathroom in need of redecoration and a more thorough clean. Would probably pay more to stay elsewhere another time...

Needed a hotel for a night stop over and this seemed well situated on the beach just 15 mins from the ferry terminal. Rooms are a bit on the small side, beds a bit hard. Far too many cobwebs and stained lino for my liking.

I booked into this hotel with my wife on route to Ghent as part of her birthday weekend. My wife specifically chose this hotel as it was close to the beach. By the time we arrived it was dark and we had been travelling 16 hours. We found it difficult to find the place as you have to go round...

We stayed here for one night to do a bit of Xmas shopping (wine). Great position as the name says on the beach , free parking pleasant staff, the rooms are a bit dated but clean with en suite tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV. Great for a brief visit, good value for money and a very good...

Here for lunch prior to shopping, our normal place to eat on all our visits.Today (Monday) isn't a good one!!!. Handful of diners, barely any heat with the food just not of the normal standard, Elderly Prawns, Grey Skate, certainly not their finish hour. Wife fared much better with a generous, excellent portion of Duck. I suppose the moral is...

I booked 6 weeks ago and requested a twin room for me and mum. When we checked in I was told the restaurant was closed due to a private party. Straight away I was annoyed because we book that hotel because of the restaurant. Surely they should have pre warned booked guests or sectioned off a part of the restaurant?...

we have stayed here before it's ideal local to all you would need very reasonable prices and the restaurant is very good too. It's not a hotel it's more like a travel in. Staff always very friendly for a couple of nights stay i would say you can't beat it for the price.

We have used this hotel a few times and I have already written a glowing review for it. However this time, although we had booked in months ago for three days, we were moved to the overflow hotel Du Golf next door. This hotel is far inferior, although you will be charged the same price for it; so I suggest...

Unbeknown to us this great hotel is currently being used to accommodate the extra police used for the migrant crisis. So don't come mid-week. Check before booking to avoid disappointment you may find that the comfy room you thought you booked on the web site has not been allocated to a pistol packing gendarme! That said food great would comes...
