Had a great lunch here having had it recommended by a chap serving us in Calais Vin whilst getting our fill of wines. The meal was very good and reasonably priced , unexpectedly generous portions and good reasonably priced wine.

We only used the restaurant while on a day trip to Calais from London. We planned a trip to Calais via the Tunnel to collect wine for an upcoming re-union of a rock/soul band that played together for the last time 50 years ago. The sat nav took us reliably to the restaurant where we found. apparently, free parking in...

I had a 4 night stay for a tourism visit to the area. Large room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, old but well maintained, TV (French language only, but enough to get a weather forecast & figure out the news headlines), inexpensive – what you’d expect for a family run hotel in a provincial city. The low price for the room...

Called in on chance after a delayed Eurotunnel held up our expected departure. The booking process was fine, room was large, comfortable with 2 double beds and a choice of pillow firmness. Nice view of the Main Street and the ferry terminal, altogether a pleasant if unexpected stay

We chose this as a one-night stop after coming off the ferry from England. We are two adults, and two 7/8 year-olds. The room was spacious enough to sleep in, and comfortable. There is a bit of noise from fellow residents coming and going but it's daily hustle and bustle rather than pubbing and clubbing. The owner was very friendly...

What a great find! This is a very good family run restaurant that serves good food at excellent prices. We hadn't booked a table but one was found for us without any trouble - we weren't rushed at all and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. We shall definitely return!

Requested a room on their website but got no reply. Rang up to request a room which was confirmed. Came for an overnight stay in Calais. Rooms spotlessly clean, toilet on the small side. Plenty of snow white fluffy towels. Comfortable and very clean bed. Restaurant had a good selection of fixed price menus which were priced to have as...

Terrific value, friendly proprietor, simple, clean, ideal little bar/ bistro alongside serving great home cooked French fare (same place), World cup footy on a small tv in the corner, tucked away from the main part of Calais on a quiet little street, off road garage parking if you need it- spot on. Not posh, not sophisticated, just easy going and...

We stayed one night at the Mouton Blanc in Calais so that we could catch an early ferry to Dover the next morning. The previous comments accurately describe this excellent private family hotel: although the rooms are basic they are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is traditional French and all the better for being so: the set menus are excellent...
