We located the Campanile out of town on a roundabout and soon realised that we had booked US motel-style accommodation. We were able to park the car easily and check-in was satisfactory, though we had to wait for a while behind another customer. The receptionist could have at least acknowledged us. The room was cooler than outside, even though there... More

Balcony walk way along side window prevens any privacy. Room was small and cramped and gloomy. Restaurant food was low standard unless you choose burger/chips (fast food). Buffet food was awful and been left there for quite some time. Certainly lack any freshness!!! Would not stay there again.

Can rely on for clean basic rooms with comfy beds. Car park was nearly full with some of Le Tour Caravanne but got parked ok. Got noisy as they were leaving early on but good nights sleep. Small room but sleep 4 with bunk. Can park by door.

This was a standard Campanile room, motel style, with everything we needed- a comfy bed, bathroom with bath and shower, tea and coffee making facilities.. The location was a few kilometres out of town so it was quiet, and the hotel had its own free car park. Vire was very busy when we passed through so it may have been... More

Staff going through the motion but not really wanting to be there. The food was tasteless and some of the buffet looked tired and unappetising. The croissants were NOT authentic and had clearly come from some far off factory with a very crumbly texture, tasting of cardboard. The evening meal was not memorable except for its blandness.

The hotel is a little way out of the town which we liked. We have two dogs who travel with us and were able to have a lovely walk in countryside. The room was larger than usual with an enormous double bed and very comfy bedding. We had a good meal and slept well.

The hotel has been recently refurbished and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The evening meal in the restaurant was good as well as the breakfast selection. The hotel was say to find and close to a large supermarket

This place has good points. Its conveniently located and easy to find. The rooms are clean and the prices reflect the very basic nature of this motel. I would not describe it as a hotel, we merely used it as somewhere to put our head down for the night. It serves that purpose. I would not recommend it for anything... More
