I read several negative reviews but that wasn't our experience at all. We had a smallish but adequate sized room with just an amazing view of the island and water. We arrived late because of traveling from an all day D-Day tour from Bayeux but the staff couldn't be more accommo

The hotel is what you would expect for a building that's hundreds of years old. But the view was breathtaking. I laid in bed trying to sleep but I couldn't due to not wanting to close my eyes. Laying in bed looking out the window is a view of the Abby. All lit up a night is e

The only way to visit Mont Saint Michel is to stay in a hotel on the island. There is very little room on the island, get there in late afternoon and explore once the tour buses are gone. Stay overnight and get up for an early tour of the monastery. Loved the stay at this hote

The staff here are clearly burned out from being in the hospitality business. When we arrived, the older gentleman acted as if he had no time to check us in, and it was not his job. When we finally found the person to check us in, she was kind and pleasant. The room had a beau

Lovely room with coffee and tea available. Breakfast can be delivered to your room. Good restaurant attached. Unbelievable views! I tipped one of the staff to carry my bag up and down the narrow, circular staircase. My suggestion is to pack light! No air conditioning, but t

What is your cancellation policy
I need 2 double rooms with 2 adults in each room for june7 2018 and I cant book on computer can you accept reservations now ? Thanks for your reply !!!
I had to email or Skype them. If you have any members of your group who are disabled or older, do not go there! The rooms start on the "2nd floor" and go up to the 5th floor via a very narrow spiral staircase. No elevator. I'd recommend staying off-island at 1 of the many hotel/motels then just getting up early & stay late for 1 day. Then head elsewhere.

Could the hotel provide a secure place to store two bicycles for overnight guests? thank you.
The "lobby" which consisted of a Bar was actually closed when we were there. We had to go down the street to get the key & someone to help us carry our luggage up a narrow spiral staircase to our 4th floor room. You can email them directly to ask but I would suspect there is not a lot of spare room. Also that means trekking your bikes up a steep, very narrow, cobbled street that is thick with crowds. Unless you really want to spend the night on the island, I would book a room just off the island where there are multiple motels and probably storage.

We will have a car with us. Is there parking anywhere?
You have to park off-island almost a mile away with a shuttle bus that gets you to the bottom of the island's main street where you then walk at least 1/4 mile up a steep, very narrow, cobbled street.
