I'm conflicted in writing this review. I knew going in that this wasn't the Ritz. Was prepared for what it actually was. The room was great. The view was great. Being able to stay on Mont St. Michel was great. Many of the previous reviews...More
Not too many hotels to choose from on the Mont and we choose this one. We had a room on the 5th floor that had a nice bay view. The room was small yet clean and practical. The staff was friendly and helpful.
This is a clean hotel with decent service and wonderful views in a very busy, noisy tourtist hub. As other reviewers have said, there are a few things to know before you go: rooms are reachable only by spiral staircase, and you have to carry...More

I had to email or Skype them. If you have any members of your group who are disabled or older, do not go there! The rooms start on the "2nd floor" and go up to the 5th floor via a very narrow spiral staircase. No elevator. I'd recommend staying off-island at 1 of the many hotel/motels then just getting up early & stay late for 1 day. Then head elsewhere.
