We had dinner at mere poulard as its an institution down there- we found it very average, omelet is good but not mind blowing and it costs you 35 euros ! The tarte Tatin was disgusting, one of the worse we ever ate - so stop by just for the memory but don't expect fine food

We had a top floor room so the view was amazing, but aside from that, everything from the room to the restaurant (an omelette for 35 euro) was outrageously expensive for what you get. It was definitely an experience staying there, but I don't think we would do it again or recommend. Nothing was terrible, but nothing (aside from the... More

We had a room overlooking at the sea and the main street. It was great to watch the tidal change. Simple room with a great view. Breakfast was extra and expensive. Downstairs restaurant is famous for its fluffy omelette but it was $50 so we passed. No elevator but since we brought our backpacks only, it was not an issue.... More

Former beautiful hotel. Only remain broken curtains, bathtub with no plug and licking shower head... There is no lift. The only good thing is that the room is clean. Clearly, the summer season has exhausted the room. Maybe this hotel is still romantic in winter but certainly not in August. What a disappointment!! I do not recommend it !

Yes it is a "once in a lifetime" and thank goodness it is over. We stayed only one night and never again. The room has no air conditioning which the big windows can handle very adequately at night but about at about 3 a.m. they start with the garbage removal via forklifts and then replenishing of the food outlets and... This location is so unique. The hotel itself has a typically french style. The room was a little old fashioned, but it was clean. On the negative side; the hotel has no elevator and for the trip to the 4th floor you need to take a lot of stairs. We had a room an oceanview and there are no words... More

The winner of the raspberry award in our 18 day holiday in France: just avoid this restaurant. Its a tourist trap as there are very few places to eat on Mont St Michel. The restaurant staff clearly didnt care what kind of experience their customers had. We requested a starter from a different 'formule' and it was like we had... More

Nice view if you are on the top floor but you need to go up several flights of stairs... Rooms are very tiny; sink was clogged; wifi inexistent (only good in reception area); bedding is extremely uncomfortable. All in all you are better off staying at a gite near by (not on site) but a much better experience than in... More

It is almost impossible for me to say anything nice about this "hotel". The hotel does not have a lift, This meant that my wife and I had to walk six flights of stairs to reach our room. The hotel is not air conditioned. This meant the windows were open to the night air. Our room, number 304, faced the... More

Comparing to what this small hotel can offer, it is very expensive even during slow season of the year. But if you want to stay inside the door of the Mont-Saint-Michel and go around when all people are left, this is the only choice. My advice is that plan your trip ahead. Don't book when it is over $200 euro... More
