Not worth 100 Euros, and the price was 180 per night. Old carpet, walls stained from fingerprints, smelly, and no AC. Stay away from this one. Really, it's best to just do MSM as a day trip. The entire place is a tourist trap, with bad hotels, rude waiters, and overpriced junk stores.

The rooms in the annex look NOTHING like the promotional photos, no wooden beams, no medieval feel, just dated, moldy 70s looking rooms. Our shower was controlled by the sink faucet. Breakfast is way overpriced at 17 euro. One thing good about our stay is that the annex is right next to the beautiful parish church which we probably would... More

This wasn't a fancy place to stay, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. I had a great view of the area surrounding Mont St. Michel and some nesting birds. The stairs to my room were very steep, so pack light as you don't want to be carrying a bunch of luggage up them. It was wonderful to... More

Staying on the island gives you a whole different feel for it. Our Mouton Blanc room was in a separate building from the reception area, through an archway and up a widing stair; it might as well have been 1500 (in a good way!). (The bathroom was perfectly modern.) There are apparently rooms with views of the abbey, but we... More

Great location on the main street on the Island. The room was a bit basic with a plastic "pod" toilet and shower. Also needed a bit of TLC as run down. Minimal facilities in room - and no tea/coffee facilities.

Hotel is tired and we stayed in main building. Ok if you want to stay on MSM and get to Abby when it opens. This place appealed more to my wife than me. Staff was nice but restaurant closed early. Would suggest just doing MSM as a day trip. Don't expect anything to be open early or late.

Your choices of hotels on the island are very limited. A couple extremely expensive, then this place. It was almost ok. We were put in the annex, which is completely separate from the main hotel. No hotel services in that building. Rooms were mostly cleaned, but not completely. For those of you who want to stay on the island, it's... More

To quote/paraphrase Dickens, It was the best of times and the worst of times. It was great to spend the night on Mont Saint Michel. I highly recommend it. You can literally watch the tide come in. The sunset was fantastic. It was magical to be there as the world became more silent and the light faded. The hotel itself... More

We didnt stay in the hotel . Only ate at the restaurant. Do Not go. Bland heavy food. Paid 97€ for baaaaaad food. There were not many choices either. Packing one's own food would be a better choice. But the abby itself is a life changing experience.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel because his friend from work booked it and he thought it rated well. To our surprise we were told our rooms were up the hill and totally separate from the hotel. When we walked in our room I was instantly sick! The walls were dirty and looked like they were growing mold... More
