We stayed as an extended family twice in our trip enroute to champagne and burgandy and on our return to the tunnel. The hotel is in an unusual area of the town, but typical of an old chateau. It has some beautiful features but is very tired in places and a good clean would certainly make a difference. Service was... More

We stayed at the Chateau for dinner bed and breakfast, had a room in the so called 'orangery' our double bed was very small in a very small room. No disabled access We had just driven 7 hours when we arrived at 6pm. there was no bar. Dinner was good but served at 8:30pm. One hour late. No drinks served... More

Stayed here for one night whilst on business. Welcome was nice, decor is authentic, hotel is set in beautiful grounds, lovely refurbished bathroom and the food was fabulous. My room on the top floor was nice an quiet and overlooked the lovely gardens. I will return!

I was with a group of four, using this as a base for visiting the battlefields. The room I had was charming, if a little "dated", but all the amenities were there, and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was a little dated, but this is an old Château after all. The downstairs drawing room, now the bar and sitting room,... More

My second stay in this hotel. It has something of an air of faded gloire, but a good place to stay. I stayed in the Orangery annex where the rooms are a little cheaper than in the main hotel. A comfortable and clean room, although it could do with refurbishment before too long. Breakfast was fine and dinner (on two... More

We stayed here in April 2016 for a few days whilst visiting the area. It is a strange combination of old and very new. The Chateau itself is clearly quite old with huge front doors and large rooms. There is a good dining room although we did not eat here. The grounds have several options for staying, The Orangery which... More

This was the most incredible place we stayed while traveling through Europe. It is well worth the extra cost to stay in the Chateau itself. Our room was lavish. Huge bed, spacious bathroom and period furnishings. Everything to make one feel like a princess for the night. Be sure to book dinner in the restaurant as it is a devine... More

The main house, an imposing chateau in pleasant grounds a little too close for comfort to social housing for us, feels just that bit tired but the service at reception and in the classy restaurant was excellent. We slept in the Orangerie which was ordinary but probably better value(cheaper!) than the chateau itself and we left after breakfast feeling unsure... More

We stayed for one night on route to Belgium. We were in the orangery which is a separate section to the main house. There was a stale odour through out this area. The bed was a small double bed and the room was clean & tidy. Bathroom had a bath. Grounds appeared well cared for. We did not eat breakfast here.... More

We stop here whenever we travel from or to the Alpes (or even further from Greece) to the UK, but I don't think I've ever reviewed it. We always arrive here about 7 or 8pm, and after a day in the car it's great to be able to let the dogs have a wander in the private park, where the... More
