We had a few days in the Pas-de-Calais, as usually I pass through on the way to warmer climes. The hotel was an excellent base for exploring the area, and sampling the gastronomy. Stayed on a Bed & Breakfast basis, the breakfasts are really good and set us up for the day. A very French version of bacon & scrambled... More

Just off the Channel Tunnel, drove down to Boulogne Sur Mer to avoid the 'campers' Have stayed at B &B Hotels before and have always found them providing basic motel chain accommodation. Modern, clean, having comfortable beds and situated close to the motorway system, but in quiet areas. Boulogne was no exception. The hotel room had been fitted out with... More

Stayed for one night in storm in February. Hotel on top of a hill very exposed as all the rooms open onto outside corridors exposed to the elements. The room we booked was freezing. We tried to get the ancient electric radiator to work but nothing. I went to reception where the girl said "yep, it's one of the rooms... More

We had planned to go to France before the Paris incident and carried on with our plans. We arrived here early evening and noticed a number of Gendarmerie vans at the end of the car park. Not a problem. The following morning the place was full of police who were staying here which we thought must be one of the... More

I was very surprised to read the detrimental reviews which preceed mine. I have stayed at this hotel twice recently. Our rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable, nice white towels and if you have the breakfast it is very good value. No complaints about the staff, they peer polite and helpful. There are two good restaurants nearby but if... More

Having taken to driving round France and Europe we happened across this no-frills chain of Hotels quite by accident. The properties are dotted around all over France and occasionally beyond and operate as motels that offer breakfast in addition to a place to lay your head. Rooms with attached W/C & shower facilities are usually quite clean with heat and... More

We hadent booked with a B&B Hotel for quite a while, mainly because the Rooms were generally grubby & the beds were like sleeping on a sack of concrete. However we read that they now have comfortable beds, so needing to stay somewhere on a trip back to England, we thought we would give them another go; well that was... More

This hotel provides reasonably priced accommodation and we found it ideal for a one night stop over on our way to and from the tunnel. We have used this hotel before and were pleased to find that it still provides clean rooms. The beds were comfortable and this year the wifi access was much improved. Friendly staff. Good onsite parking.... More

This was a typical B&B with clean room and good location for traveling south. My only criticism would be cleaning staff piling their things next to your door at 08:15 in the morning when the booklet says you don't have to be out until 12:00. They were very nice and didn't knock on the door or anything like that, but... More
