Inexpensive hotel just opposite Tarbes railway station and a short walk from the town centre. Friendly staff and rooms reasonably spacious and clean. However decor very tired. Also poor air conditioning and very erratic wifi. Good for a stopover but wouldn't want to have stayed more than a night. Breakfast was fine.

Due to exceptionally bad weather, my young granddaughter and my train journey to Tarbes was interrupted and replaced by a coach. Hours longer than planned meant that we had to spend the night in Tarbes without knowing hotels there. It was a relief to find this one across from the train station. As it was late at night and raining,...

It is an easy walk into Tarbes with a free bus available outside the hotel. Bus transport is also cheap. Tabes was an old industrial town and is reflected in the buildings needing renovation that is common...

The hotel's locale in front of the Tarbes train/bus station was great; however, the commute to and from Marciac daily was tiring. The trip from the train station to Lourdes was great, but not so for Marciac. The staff @ Hotel L'Europeen were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is located in front of the Tarbes SNCF train station. We just used it for a 1 night stop in our trip, and we used the free car park in front of the hotel. The building is outdated and the first impression we got was quite poor. However, the rooms have been refurbrished and were very clean. On...
