This is a well located hotel, to modern standards offering good value. The parking caused us difficulty. Our booking confirmation specified that the hotel had no parking but that there was public parking, closed at night. So, we waited till 5pm to approach. Right by the hotel entrance is a sign 'Parking Foch, 400 places'. This we took and parked...

The room was comfortable and fairly large with a big bathroom. The WiFi woks on the ground level and is free. The staff is very friendly and the location is in the centre near the cathedral, shopping and restaurants within the lovely cobblestoned streets.

We booked a suite in this hotel. Upon arrival, the receptionist reminded us that we had a cut-rate for this room (we had availed of the early-booking discount). I felt that this was unnecessary and a tad belittling. She then went on to tell us that it was rented as a double occupancy and that we were not to use...

Very well located hotel close to the cathedral and good local restaurants. Our room was very clean and comfortable with great views of the cathedral. We found reception very helpful and polite. We were pleasantly surprised at the buffet breakfast which was delicious and consisted of a good selection of pastries, fresh fruits, crepes, cereals, cold meats, cheeses and even...

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel la Tour Maje in Rodez Centre. It is located at a stone’s throw from the big cathedral of the city and sits right by the edge of the historic area. The hotel takes its name from the old tower that it incorporates. Rooms are small but very pleasantly decorated. They are equipped...

Great central vacation with view toward towering Cathedral. Easy walking to restaurants. Extremely professional and helpful management and staff. And a great buffet breakfast included with the room. Reasonable prices, great location, outstanding breakfast buffet. We hope to stay there again and will if/when we can return to Rodez and all it has to offer in terms of nearby day...

No-one could quibble about the location of this hotel, because it is smack-bang in the centre of the town (in fact, part of it was once a section of the defensive walls) and therefore you are only minutes away from the magnificent cathedral, the bishop's palace, the new art gallery and most of the Rodez attractions, of which there are...

Modern and slightly impersonal but quite comfortable room, with great view on the Cathédrale and the Chapelle Royale. Right in the center, so very close to the Cathedral, the Musée Soulages, the Musée Fenaille, the restaurants. Good buffet breakfast (despite unncessary TV, but then maybe businessmen cannot wait seeing where the Nikkei ended...). Very friendly staff.

From the photographs, I had pictured a romantic hotel, with an attractive restaurant attached, though not integral to the hotel, and with wonderful views of the cathedral. I arrived by car and found the hotel difficult to find, mainly because it looked nothing like I had been led to believe. I eventually got my car into the underground car park,...

“If you go for a room with a balcony make sure to ask for a higher floor. This will give you a nice vie of the cathedral. Lower floors will be looking out onto a parking lot.”
