We arrived at 4:30 pm on Sunday to be greeted by a sign on the door saying that the hotel was closed until 6; we returned at 6, no sign of the owner until 7pm! fortunately we were enable to access the reception area as another guest was waiting for the owner in order to settle her bill. When the...

Did not stay in this hotel, but we had to spend a day in Rodez waiting for train to leave. We had heavy backpacks and were looking for a place to put them. No lockers at train station. The local tourist information was extremely unhelpful (avoid them). We decided to ask at this hotel and the owner/manager without hesitation agreed...

Neat, historic building. Very well located. The only room available was the "Erotic" room. Mirror on the ceiling and the walls. Quite funny and fun. The rest of the hotel is more 'old world' in style. Apart from that the interior was a bit warn and had some cleaniness issues such as fungus growing in the fridge. Not just a...

1. Really great place to be, right in the middle of the old town center, everything appeared to be within walking distance, although to be honest there wasn’t much going on at night. Most of the night life was downhill towards the modern part. We ate in Les Colonnes and tried the local dish “a sausage with potato/cheese puree” delicious....

The best thing about this hotel is that it is so central. Also, it is tucked away from the main street, so it is very quiet. It was very reasonable (a special rate via Expedia) and of course you get what you pay for, so we weren't surprised that the room was simple and basic, although clean. The bed was...

This hotel is a former private mansion which is in the heart of Rodez, very close to the cathedral and its famous bell tower. The hotel is in a beautiful location and is good value for money. My room was basic but comfortable – I had had a beautiful old window with shutters that opened on to a lovely old...

I stayed in du clocher for 2 nights for a open house for a customer. Price of the rooms was very moderate 62 euro/night. Breakfast 8 euro. Breakfast was good with fresh fruits and bread. Cannot complain realy, in the bathroom the toilet did not flush like it should have.

The room was in a poor condition. The bathroom and toilet were dirty, one of the windows was broken, there was no key for the bathroom door, there was no waste paper basket, the bed linen was polyester, the duvet cover was marked, the sound-proofing was non-existent so you could hear snoring from the next room, the reception was unmanned...

Official closing time for reception is 21:00. We didn't turn up till 23:00, but the guy arrived in 5 minutes and was thoroughly welcoming. The windows are poorly thought-out - it's either open and banging or closed and a bit stuffy, but otherwise no criticisms.
