We recently stayed at La Villa De Mazamet for four nights and it was even better than expected! The holiday was perfection from start to finish - from the warm welcome, comfortable and tastefully furnished rooms, wonderful food and relaxed surroundings. Peter and Mark went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel... More

Outstanding.. Needless to say we (my husband and I) are veterans of French upscale countryside accommodation, having made dozens of weekend and longer vacation trips to France over the past 15 years. We look for character properties, small hotels/upscale B&B's that offer excellent quality and service. La Villa De Mazamet has officially topped them all, for quality of the experience,... More

My husband and I recently spent 5 days at the Villa and would recommend it to anyone. The accommodation is comfortable and spacious; the attention to detail quite wonderful. If you have dinner at the villa, culniary delights await you and the wines are very good quality and certainly within budget. It is very centrally situated yet extremely quiet at... More

There is no finer place to go and relax, be well looked after, and enjoy a culinary delight. Mark and Peter are perfect hosts, the rooms are spacious, spotless and tastefully decorated. There is plenty to see and do in the area and the train station is close enough to walk to for a car free day in Toulouse.

We stayed here the last week of July, on arrival we were greeted by Mark and Peter and offered a drink, which was welcome after the long journey from England. The train was not working, so we got the coach from Toulouse airport to the bus station, then a coach to Mazamet. We were then taken to our room which... More

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with plenty of good food and an interesting time in the town of Mazamet. The hospitality and quality of service was first class but with a nice touch of friendliness and lack of pomposity. The rooms were brilliant, as was the experience of sitting in the garden or by the pool with drinks. The... More

It seems to me that most people reading these reviews just want confirmation that what people are writing is true. Everything you have read about La Villa de Mazamet in recent reviews is true! I can't top any of the superlatives. I can't say enough about the warm treatment and our completely consummate hosts Peter and Mark, whose care and... More

If you are a student of marketing or hospitality, or indeed a professor thereof, you could do a lot worse then a stay here to see how the theory can really work in practice. It must take an enormous amount of hard work to make it appear so seamless and relaxed, while maintaining the highest of standards. If you don't... More

Despite countless hours on TA, and great stays in lots of excellent hotels/B&Bs, I have never previously written a review. I think the difference this time is that Villa de Mazamet, in addition to meeting the high expectations in terms of accommodation and service, has also, looking back now 2 months since our visit, simply left a stronger positive impression... The Villa and its hosts deserve every positive word that has been written about them. We had a wonderful two night stay and couldn't fault the decor, food, ambiance or facilities. It would be the perfect place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, other special occasion or just to get away from it all for a few days. The owners, Mark... More
