Excellent central position in town that is geared for Pyrenean cycling and walking. Nice rooms some with stunning views. Personal and friendly service throughout hotel and restaurant. Would be very happy to return.

We stayed one night in this beautiful and romantic family driven hotel. The charm of the building strikes you when you arrive and once inside you see the great personal taste and sense of details that is put into every room - from the reception, the restaurant, the living room, the staircase and to the rooms. Also we loved the...

On a cycling tour of France Argeles-Gazost was my base for a three-day stay in the high Pyrenees. The Hotel Beau Site is, to say the least, a traditional hotel - the antithesis of a modern corporate chain. Not fancy, but comfortable and clean and well-kept; and the elderly couple who own it are absolutely charming and could not have...

Stayed at this amazing inn while on a trans-Pyrenees cycling trip with a group of 15 riders and guides. Conveniently located close to the central squares and shops of the town, the hotel oozed genuine history from the very first glance. If you need marble and glass with high ceilings it won't be your cup of tea. But if you...

We were a group of 13 cyclists and needed 7 rooms with single beds. The hotel was lovely, the rooms spacious, the owner very helpful and dinner delightful. Great value. It set us all up well for an assault on the Col De Tourmalet the following day.

The owners could not have been more helpful. They are very cyclist-friendly and were so accommodating and kind. The hotel is very nice, an old, characterful building with a great terrace. We had a comfortable, smallish room, with a small but functional bathroom (although the bath was too small to be of any real use as a bath). Would highly...

This a wonderful old-style hotel with charming owners. Our room (#2) was small but comfortable. We had the full dinner twice, which was excellent. The owners made a point to come around to each table to make sure everything was alright and to chat. Madame took the time to tell us about her personal story and to give me some...

Six of us stayed here for 2 nights on a cycling trip across France from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean. I was very pleased that I chose this hotel: the owners are delightful and welcomed us very warmly. The building, in the centre of the town, is perhaps a little old-fashioned but none the worse for that, with very comfortable...

We stayed here for a night during a cycling holiday and were immediately taken by this place. It feels lived in without being grubby (far from it) or shabby, has a great location and Mr and Mrs Ten, the owners, are very very funny. The room was traditional, very clean and comfortable and breakfast was served in the formal dining...
