I was travelling across France last week and stayed at this chambre d'hote overnight. This owners were absolutely delightful - an elderly couple who put great effort into making you comfortable. There is the main house, where the breakfast is served, and the second house for visitors, which is where I stayed. The bed was super comfortable, the room was... More

We were lucky in having the whole house to ourselves as there were just some people staying in the caravan. We received a warm welcome and shown the beautiful views and the swimming pool which we soon got in as it was soooo hot. Great shower and all the facilities you needed. The breakfast was FANTASTIC, the food just kept... More

When we arrived at Le Domaine du Breuil, Gerard was up a tree picking cherries so he didn't hear us ringing the bell straight away but as soon as he realised we were there he greeted us with handfuls of freshly picked cherries and two chilled glasses of juice - it was a very warm and thoughtful welcome. He let... More

A lovely bed and breakfast run by a friendly couple who went out of their way to make us welcome. One night in a lovely room in the house with all the space we could want and fridge, kettle and coffee maker to keep us happy. Second night in the "roulotte" that is a sort of gypsy caravan in the... We stayed at Le Domaine du Breuil for one night on route from Lyon to La Rochelle. It was a comfortable and convenient stopover. We had the "Laure" room but as there were no other guests in the B&B, we had the self contained space to ourselves. The room was comfortable, clean and well presented. Breakfast was sumptuous with plenty... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights while negotiating to rent a house nearby. We had the place to ourselves and so could choose which room to sleep in. It's in a quiet location, though just the other side of the railway line from central Brive. And you have a good view of the town. The rooms were... More

We can confirm all the previous reports. Secure parking; comfortable room (we had "Laure") with nice, long beds (so often French beds are too short) and excellent central heating and piping hot water. Also - free wifi and plenty of space. Breakfast was outstanding. Excellent rapport qualité-prix - 75 euros for two with a breakfast enough to last a day... More

We have been in France a year now and I can say hand on heart, this charming B&B gave us the the best breakfast we have had to date! We stayed inthe caravan with 2 children and it was gorgeous! Our hosts were warm and welcoming - highly recommend.

We stayed here for one night last summer on a touring holiday in France. This is a lovely quiet place, situated above the town of Brive, where we were welcomed by the charming owner, wreathed in smiles despite the pouring rain. We were shown to a little house up steps , where we had use of two bedrooms, shower room and living... More

We spent a night in Brive and booked this accommodation at short notice. What a find and what fantastic hospitality. We were warmly greeted and give a full tour of the accommodation. There was even a welcome drink. There is one double bedroom, one twin room and one room with a 3/4 size bed ( I think). Everything was plannd... More
