Despite following advice on the reception desk to use the phone to call someone to reception, we waited a good 20mins for the call to be answered, so we could check in. The receptionist was doing the cleaning. He was very polite & charming, offered to help carry our bags & gave us advice on where to head to get...

My girlfriend and I recently spent two nights at the O'Cub Hotel as part of a self guided cycling tour. The hotel was booked as part of the package. The reception is at the ground level of the hotel. Small room but no complaints - we had a lovely river view. Location just right - pleasant walk across the bridge to Avignon. Reasonable price for hotel and staff helpful in recommending local restaurants without crossing the bridge on the first night when we were tired with travelling.

Fantastic location and very friendly owner who gave us some great tips on what to do in Avignon. River view from room on second floor and terrace for breakfast at the top. Lovely room with mini bar, fridge and great pillows! Easy walk to city with good parking. Would stay again 😉

I would say this is better as a one night stop, than the residence for a 1 week trip. We actually reserved it as just it is just across the river, we didn't notice that the bridge is over 1 km, as the rivers splits in 2 and there is an island in the middle. If you don't mind waking...

This is our second time here and it's still a great value. Every other trip advisor hotel in villanueve is over twice the $. The location is perfect within easy walk of Avignon and parking is free. We love this place. Good breakfast and helpful staff.

We booked based on TA reviews and were not in the least bit disappointed. The hotel is located in the Villeneuve - literally just across the bridge (about 1km) from the main city. Since we were traveling by bike this was hardly an issue though if you want shops and restaurants at you doorstep it could be an issue for...
