Spent two nights here in May. Facilities are of a good standard. Lots of stairs. Staff could not be more helpful. Several restaurants within a five minute walk as was bus to Avignon. Both private and free parking available within 200m of hotel. Typical French breakfast.

I stayed in this hotel when I was in Avignon France recently with my uncle. I loved it so much I came back to it a few days later. I have stayed in two of the rooms, both were so charming and the real French experience. The lobby in the hotel is so quaint with cookies and beverages where you... More

A group of 4 of us stayed here for 3 nights. It is a lovely hotel, and has been refurbished in a quirky interesting way.ie. there are still remnants of the old silk factory (that I believe it once was?) incorporated into the new shabby chic style decor. We were welcomed personally by Stephane,(he actually came out and met us... More

We stayed here for 1 night and booked the hotel for convenience on a stop over travelling back through the south of France. We knew nothing about the area or the hotel. What a find! The area is absolutely beautiful, the hotel is full of rustic french charm and is just so pretty. Breakfast was great and Stefan and his... More

Warm embrace as soon as you step into the lobby, so called, of this hotel. Let yourself go and stop for a moment. Let the decorations take you away. Ease the pace and soak in the environment. This hotel offers very charming experience since every room is a bit different, but none of them lack personal touch. Attention to detail... More

Stephane and his staff were amazing in making us feel comfortable and welcome. He gave us great advice on how to best appreciate the area. Breakfast was wonderful and the city of Villeneuve lez Avignon had a very nice selection of quaint and amazing restaurants. We would definitely recommend l'Hotel de l'Atelier and look forward to staying there again some... More

We had a wonderful time at the Hotel L'Atelier in Villeneuve Lez Avignon. Stefan, the owner, was extremely welcoming and made our stay for a family wedding just perfect. All his staff were helpful and courteous and nothing was ever too much trouble. We cannot recommend this hotel enough. The two rooms at the back of the hotel overlooking a... More

Villeneuve des Avignon is a fairy tale place with an enigmatic feel. It is composed of mediaval buildings, like a time travel. The hotel is simply superbly arranged and managed by its owners. Although you are eager to see Provence, you will discover yourself spending a lot of time in the garden (marvelous) and the lobby. The rooms are newly... More

French hospitality at its best - from inviting, cozy public areas to simply but elegantly decorated rooms.
