A must stay during a tour around Gorges dud Tarn area. The chateau is strictly private with private access to the river,a huge charming swimming pool, nice public spaces and a high quality restaurant NOT TO BE MISSED.

The amazing restaurant staff mainly speak English (the receptionist bizarrely didn't!) and it helped to make our stay extra-special. They explained what every dish was and the food was beautifully made - I had the fish with a black rice risotto which was heavenly! The grounds are well tended to and we had a very welcome relax in the pool... More

What a great place for a special night. We stayed in the French suite overlooking the chateau, pool, and river. We would recommend these suites because there is no stairs, rooms are newer, and the views of the chateau are wonderful. Arrived in afternoon and had drinks on the terrace. Also had dinner on terrace, which was wonderful. Downside, no... More

Great food, great company, great wine, great view. Do it, do it, do it! Great way to break up all the canoeing ;) Every dish was amazing and we ordered almost all that was available. Service was excellent and was in gorgeous surroundings. Like i said before. Do it, do it, do it!

This Chateau on the beautiful Tarn river is something special. The staff are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. There is a beautiful outdoor pool and jacuzzi along the river. Dinner is a gourmet delight. And the chateau itself--well how often does one get to stay in a castle? Our room, the... More

Price for one night, double bed (€134), drinks, (€30) set dinner and wine (€150), and breakfast (€32). €346 in all. The small 15th century castle, with 12 rooms, is absolutely splendid, made me imagine all the people who had lived there. Loved the authentic chapel too, the stone everywhere, the cleanliness. Liked the bedroom with the fireplace. However this hotel... More

My wife and I enjoyed a night's stay at the Chateau in a standard room (Anne) on Friday 17th June. A kindly receptionist helped us with our luggage to our room. The room was the epitome of luxury, with beautiful bed linen and a sumptuous bathroom which my wife took full advantage of whilst I fly fished on the river... More

The service at this incredibly beautiful authentic small 15th century castle in Les Gorges de la Tarn was exquisite, and should have prepared me for the extraordinary quality of the cuisine here, but I was surprised nevertheless. Even in France, when the scenery is magnificent as it was in the Gorge, and the accommodations have a feeling of fantasy, because... More

The location is wonderful, the chateau looks incredible, and the comfort and service is great. The rooms could do perhaps with a new lease of life - they are very clean and comfortable, just a bit dated. I would also say that the food isn't completely to die for. Breakfast was lovely but there really weren't many options - and... More

This is a genuine medieval fortress complete with moat , large and excellent swimming pool, garden and lovely position beside the River Tarn. A roaring fire, bar and comfortable seating makes it worth dressing up a bit. Food is very high quality and beautifully presented but breakfast is a bit sparse - no cereal or fruit and coffee takes an age... More
