After a long cycle across the Pyrenees we had booked two nights at Auberge du Roua as a treat for recuperation. The cycle to the hotel hugged the main road, and we were a little nervous that we'd not picked a particularly attractive place to stay. However, once we'd arrived into the hotel grounds, the noise of the highway gave... More

Stunning setting with Pyrenees in the background set beside a swimming pool. Food here is the best in the area. L'escargot followed by lamb were superb. We also took my 13 year old son who loved it. This is a must see, my try restaurant for any foodie.

We spent 5 days with 6 adults and 2 kids. The rooms are very spacious, with 2 twin beds connecting. We had connecting rooms which is very nice for a family. The beds were very comfortable, the AC was working great and was quiet. The breakfast was out of this world! With a choice of juices, croissants, bread, jams. Everything was... More

We stayed here for 4 nights, 2 weeks ago, and we loved it. While Argeles is a busy little town, this place is a complete heaven! The hotel is an old farm, and has been renovated for the past 50+ years. The architecture is very traditional, and the charm is undeniable. Low vaulted ceilings and exposed rock walls are a... More

We chose this quaint hotel as a place to unwind before meeting family in Spain. It is in a beautiful setting although the surrounding roads are more like a roller coaster! The room was lovely and the views amazing. The air conditioning was not really adequate but that was a minor gripe. The restaurant served fantastic food but is expensive,... More

We have just spent 5 nights here while on our travels in France. It was our relaxation stop before heading to Clermont-ferrand for a wedding. We drove here from the UK. It was very easy to find, even if you think your heading into nowhere. You will come to it in the end. Plenty of parking and in a beautiful... More

Thank you very much for visiting us and thank you even more for those details which make the Auberge. It is a real pleasure to read from you. For now, it is not possible for us to serve lunch every days. Your suggestion is however well registered and maybe one day will we serve a light lunch menu. Looking forward... More

This is a charming auberge owned and operated by a very pleasant and efficent couple, Magali and Petter. The auberge is well designed and expertly managed. The rooms are simply but well thought out with a delicious and good range of offerings for breakfast. Make sure you make a dinner reservation, the setting is lovely by the pool and the... More

We stayed here for four nights in a suite with terrace. The room was very large, modern and luxurious, the air conditioning was efficient and we slept very well - huge bed! Thank you very much for your stay and your appreciation of our new Suite with private terrace. We are very glad that you enjoyed it as it was a big challenge to renovate this part of the building. We had a nice stay at auberge de roua. The rooms are clean and lots of space. A few km away from the very crowdy argeles. Its possible to bring your bike and never use the car during the whole stay. The food served in the restaurant was devine and certainly worth a michelin star. The pool in the tropical... More

And we will be very pleased to see you again. Bringing your bike at the Auberge is indeed a very good idea. Argelès is a stroll away, driving through Argelès can be hazardous, biking much easier. Looking forward to welcoming you again, Best regards, Magalie More

We stayed at this Auberge for a couple of days in early July and really enjoyed our stay.
