A very lovely little place with amazing staff!! This was our 4th stop on our 7 destination tour of the Northern Cape. The room was comfortable although the bed was a little soft for me; the bathroom small but had everything you need! Tea and Coffee were provided in the rooms and you could also get some in the bar anytime. Beakfast is buffett style and evening meals are excellent. I am Gluten free and the chef checked everything with me before cooking! The Lyngenfjord area is an amazing place, plenty of walks, scenery and views. I would highly recommend a stay here, use it for a base and enjoy!!

I stopped at Lyngskroa to have a bit food. But when i saw the many different things the place had to offer, i had a 3 course dinner. Had the fish soup for starter, reindeer stew for main course and apple cake for dessert. And it was all superb. The fish soup was maybe the best fish soup i have ever had, and the reindeer stew was excelente. The only problem was maybe that the portion was very big so i got very full. But maybe the best part was the apple cake. The apple cake was warm and served with icecream and whipped cream. Everything was just so very good. I strongly recommend everyone to try this place if you are driving past it.

The restaurant appeared as an ala carte restaurant, and the prices were sky high. I ordered a starter soup and reindeer. They were the worst Ive ever eaten and it was like food for truck drivers with Michelin restaurant prices. Jeesus christ never ever eat here. I only stopped by here for eating (I expected it to be at least decent but no...) so I have no idea what its like to sleep in. But I can never recommend this place for anyone to eat at, not at least for this unreasonable price.

Expensive but good accommodation. Excellent breakfast. Cosy and warm restaurant, where a is bonfire always was lit. Good dishes but to pay 98 NOK for 0.5 l beer is unreasonable. Easy to park your car. It is not ideal surroundings to walk your dog. You have to use the small roads in the valley. But the landscape is beautiful. Wi-Fi is fast and password protected. No extra charge for our dog.

First of all, you're not downtown Tromsø or anything - so have your mind set for that. But for a small place like Storfjord, having a nice place like this running is very good and impressive. Dont expect a 5 start luxury sleepover! But you'll get what you need and beyond. Popular by locals for bigger events (weddings etc) Popular by snowmobilers as the snowmobile track runs to the door. You can ex drive from Finland and back by snowmobile in 1/2 a day!

We spent a few days in Vollan's for a active holiday of skiing and hiking. For that, Vollan's is a great spot. It is within 30 minutes drive of some wonderful ski lines and hiking destinations. The rooms are very basic -- we stayed in a small cottage some 500 meters from the main building -- but otherwise ok. Likely the rooms in the main building are a bit more modern. The breakfast was savoury. We also had some beers at their basement restaurant in the evening, which was ok and comfy. There was some confusion with our reservation, but the staff managed it ok. For an extra price, you can also make lunch for you to take with you from the breakfast buffet. Didn't try the dinner.

Location: Very good, nice view. Rooms: is a bit old but works fine. Cleaning: Very good Breakfast: ok Scandinavian breakfast. (missing bacon and scrambled eggs and hot dishes) We ate dinner at the hotel, the fish soup I ate here is actually the worst I have tasted, it was over cooked and full of bones. my friend ate chicken that was dry and they used frozen vegetables as accessories. The wifi was slow.

This is a hotel I have used a couple of times during the years when I'm in these parts of Troms. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are really nice. They have excellent food in the restaurant and the wine selection is very good. The have about 3000 bottles of wine and the owner is a wine entusiast. During the winter there is not much going on here, but they have a night club in the basement which is open during the more warm parts of the year.
