After a so-so visit in 2016 and luke warm review, I saw the TA note from the management regarding their commitment to improve customer service. I felt it was my obligation to give them another chance. Last week I stayed at the Mercure with 3 colleagues for 5 days. It was clear from the moment we stepped into the lobby...

Mud glorious mud - this describes the car park. Don't wear you best shoes. The hotel itself is fine but it is spoilt by the car park and the immediate walking area into St Germain En Laye. We had to have the interior of the car professionally cleaned it was so bad

Great position for exploring the Pantheon, la chapel le, Ile de cite etc etc. We loved the area but could hardly move in our room. The door opened onto the bathroom door and the end of the bed had just enough room to walk beside. Only one of you at a time. The bed was very comfortable but the shower...

Summary based on stay in Aug/Sep 2016: Overall, the hotel is a nice property that benefits from a good location very near the city center, Chateau de St. Germain and it's park grounds. Parking is decent (very tight in front, but OK on side) and no cost. Rooms are quite small to American standards (maybe even a little bit in...

Laughably small room with sealed window but good air conditioning, at end of long corridor; modern and clean bathroom; unreliable Wi-Fi; excellent breakfast; good location a very short walk from town. The staff were (with one notable exception) friendly and helpful. So - overall - not too bad. We sneaked a look at the guest list during breakfast and saw...

My wife and I had a very strange experience at this Hotel. We arrived at Hotel Mercure in the evening ((after a 13 hour train from Rome and metro) and were given a room in an adjacent building; the room was located on the 3rd floor. We walked down the dark path to the building and entered the unlighted building...

This hotel was booked on my behalf by colleagues. It's easy enough to walk to the cafes and the Chateau, but finding the place is difficult. Signage is hard to see and the parking is near non-existent. The setting is nice, with woods next door and a garden-like courtyard, but at night (when I arrived) there are few lights and...

I travel to this suburb of Paris regularly (monthly), and like this hotel for location and newness of the facility. However, the quality of the reception desk service is too variable for me to give it a higher rating. Unfortunately, I am only able to speak a very small amount of French (improving) and therefore I like to stay at...

Hotel Mercure was very quiet and clean. The rooms are small but adequate for a business trip. The staff was helpful, the front desk attendant kindly helped me print a train ticket. The breakfast was nice and had variety. I would stay here again.
