A lovely hotel in a great spot, who would have thought that you could stay on an island in Paris. The Hotel is in a great spot, and the island has some good restaurants and bars as well. The Hotel is surprisingly quiet given its location and the bed was very comfortable, well worth staying here.

OK, it's not the best hotel in Paris nor is it the closest to Paris centre but for what we paid and for the overall cleanliness and helpful staff it was not too bad for a 3 star. We did not eat any meals here as we prefer to eat out so cannot comment on the food but from talking to other guests the food was ok. There are several eateries very close to the hotel and a small supermarket just in case you want to take anything back to your room (don't tell the management though) Number 93 bus takes you into Paris and back or do what we did and use the Metro which is excellent value for money. An annoying point was while we were there the weather was excellent and we had our balcony windows open and as we were on the first floor every time some one left the hotel to smoke outside the hotel entrance we could smell the cigarettes.

Response from Emmanuelle H, Directeur général at Hotel de la Jatte

Thank you for the informations. Yes I do prefer that you don't eat in the room for cleaness matter. Some guest doesn't take care and we often find food all over the carpet... We do not have restaurant but if one day you wish, you can eat down stair in our breakfast room, feeling more comfortable. Hope to welcome you again. Best regards Emmanuelle

The hotel is situated out of town, in Neuilly west of Paris 17, on the Jatte island on the Seine. It’s not a modern establishment, but it is clean and provides the essentials for a brief stay. Unfortunately it was very hot, and when trying to open the window to get some fresh air, a surprisingly amount of noise created a disturbance that was contributing to a night of very few hours of sleep. Fair enough, we got a room, but won’t be dying to get back here if anything else is available. The third point for cleanliness, but only just.

Nothing particularly wrong with the area (near Neuilly) and the room was spotless. This was sold to us as a 'Superior' room but was incredibly small. There is no air conditioning, only heating which we had to turn off but could not open the window at night because of the constant roar of traffic. The hotel faces the Seine and close to a bridge. There is no tea/coffee making facility in the room ~ well, there wasn't enough space for that! Both of these items should be in a room termed 'Superior'. The bathroom was clean although there was evidence of mould on the grouting which didn't look good at all. Sizewise, it was a cupboard! Don't be mislead by the photos of the breakfast room, it's tiny. Only a cold buffett, although boiled eggs were on offer. We stayed on one of the busiest weekends and on Sunday morning most of the food had been eaten well before the 10.30 am cut off ~ not acceptable. The hotel knew how many guests they had and should have ordered more than enough to accommodate ~ very poor. They have a bar which is a cupboard housing drinks and another cupboard holding glasses! There is a nice supermarket just around the corner. Across the road is a pizzeria, and also a wine bar serving food.

Nice and clean hotel. Very quiet surroundings, more residential than tourist location. Unfortunately its far out of town BUT you can take bus 82 which takes you straight to Eiffel Tower or 93 to Arc de Triomphe. Both takes around 30 minutes. There is no bars or coffee shops around but you have small market around the corner. We got it for a very good price including breakfast so i cannot complain.
