Magnificent 5 star dinner on their lovely Terrasse. Because of the options we chose the least expensive menu. It was only 40€ for 6 courses. Each one amazing. From amuse bouche, cool tomato basil soup, to salmon tartare, roast duck breast and fennel purée, homemade cheese course and then! A dessert melange that I couldn't believe. The bread is also... Great Hotel for an overnight stop when driving down the motorway from London to the Luberon. Warm welcome and fabulous dinner. We decided not to wait for breakfast as we wanted to start the second leg of our journey and there seem to be a wait at 7:15am,. But apart from that I highly recommend.

Very Bad stay, stay away from this place ! This is really not like on the picture, the hotel is along a very busy street very far from the city centrer, rooms are small and even if you pay for an upgrade , the view is on the parking, no mini bar, no coffee machine, bathroom very small.... Manager are... More

A modern hotel about 7 km from the centre of Dole on a main road, decorated in shades of red and grey, this feels quite like a motel. There's a small bar and restaurant and a tiny swimming pool outside. I suggest you don't book a basic double room which, although well equipped, is absolutely tiny! Pay an extra €20... More

Restaurant service and quality is exceptional, pretty much everything is local or home made. The 4-6 course meal is clearly worth the value. Hotel rooms are a little dusty and generally one step below. Staff is pleasant & communicative. Ideal for a stopover towards or back from the Alps.

Our third visit to this hotel which is one of our overnight stopovers when we go skiing. Pleasant hotel in a not very exciting location. Rooms are fine though not very big. Recent redecoration includes excellent bathrooms with good showers . Pleasant public area with comfortable seating and a good aperitif with interesting nibbles. The main attraction however (which drew... More

We stayed here on 23rd September and had an excellent dinner as well as a comfortable room, although long life milk for breakfast was a great disappointment! However, we had been contacted a week earlier by La Chaumiere asking where we were, which they later acknowledged was a booking error on their part. When we returned to England we found... More

We were booked into the wrong room, well it happens. Then we were told it was our own fault for booking online and not confirming what we wanted by phone.... After showing the print out to the Proprietor , who still said it was our fault, we asked if there were 2 rooms...after some discussion we were told she didn't... More

The reason to go is the restaurant, which manages both to be informal (umbrellas on the terrace, children running around the garden) and still to serve really good food, flavourful and beautifully presented. We can't wait to eat there again. Rooms are on the small side, the pool is OK but nothing special, but for a one-night stop between the... More

Although perfectly comfortable, the bedroom was small and cramped. Most of all, I disliked the restaurant. Even with a Michelin star, the prices were high and the decor was something from fifty years ago, including what looked like lino flooring.

“I am not sure that all the rooms have been done up so pick one that has. My son stayed in the family room which needs some serious upgrading. A sofa bed makes up into a bunk bed which is not good. My granddaughter cut her head on something in the night and woke with blood caked on her head and pillow. There is a main road outside the front so avoid that.”
