My wife and stopped here for 1 night on 6th October while en-route from Versailles to Southern Germany. The hotel is conveniently situated in the town centre. we were warmly greeted on arrival with a welcome non-alcoholic fruit cocktail. The hotel is well presented in a smart modern style. The room was very pleasant, clean with a comfortable bed and... More

Very relaxing environment, lovely welcome, professional multi lingual staff. Very good breakfast worth the additional fee. DInner also a good experience, less pretentious than the menus appears, and lots of fait Maison, and nice atmosphere. Good WIFI, great beds, aircon, mini bar, bathrobes, and tea and coffee facilities, very quiet. Easy access, off road parking, and within the center of... More

Two years ago, we booked this hotel for an overnight stopover en route from southern Germany to Calais. At the time we were delighted with our choice so had no hesitation in making a fresh reservation when we again needed to make exactly the same journey. As before, our room was spacious and well equipped while the en suite facility... More

I had been driving for a number of hours but had the foresight to book a hotel. As luck would have it, my choice of the Hotel d'Angleterre was inspired. Easy to find, with some private parking and a car park over the road if the hotel car park is full. Very near the Notre Dame en Vaux and an easy walk to the beautiful riverside gardens. We arrived here for a wedding, lovely clean rooms with air con, fantastically helpful service, made to feel very welcome. One problem no iron which is strange in a hotel. Fortunately thanks to the assistance of the receptionist we managed to located a shop in which we could iron our clothes. Breakfast was beautiful.
