Stayed October, the room felt like a box with no character, seemed to have been a picture on the wall but had been removed, the only view you have in a garden room is a skylight in the roof, so all we saw was a tree blowing on a wet windy night, booked for a sauna as soon as we arrived but only time on offer was 10.30 the following morning and due to check out at 11am this was also expensive for the 30 mins given, the website shows as sauna, steam room and jackuzi but we found out they were all separate and charged seperatly too. The good side of the place is the breakfast was excellent and close enough to the front which was reason for visiting but we won't be returning here !! Sorry

We have stayed here on a number of occasions for two reasons - its proximity to the St Malo ferry and Cancale's oysters! Location is good but a mile or so out of town - having said that we walked to and from the town centre restaurants without trouble, even with a 'dodgy' knee. Accommodation is modern but 'tight' - however you have everything you need for an overnight or two. My wife enjoyed the heated pool - the pull over enclosure created a 'sauna' like effect for me! Breakfast at under 10 Euros was excellent - freshly baked breads, cereals, coffee, fruit juice, cheese and ham. My only 'complaint' was the very basic and at times non existent internet service.

The hotel has some very pleasant small "houses" (plus a larger house with rooms which I did not visit). They offer breakfast in a nice restaurant area (which we didn´t try because we opted to go to the harbour for fresh oysters for breakfast ;-)). The small houses have a nice bedroom, a comfortable bed and a steep ladder to a second base, where up to two people can sleep. The bathroom is nice, too (without windows). We just had a look at the pool, because it closes at 20.00 h - we arrived 19.55 h - and opens again at 10.00h - we left 9.55 h... small, but nice, with a glass roof. we really liked it. The staff was friendly and recommended a nice seafood restaurant :-).

Nice hotel, a bit far from the center of Cancale but quiet and very convinient if you have a car to explore the area. Very nice garden and pool area. Rooms are basic but clean, overall good value for money
