An extremely comfortable bed was the standout feature of this hotel, along with the picturesque seafront location and superb views out over the bay towards mont st michel. Tasty baguette, cheese and croissant for breakfast, though the coffee was not very hot. Plenty of good restaurants within short walking distance, and they all seemed to be open as well, which...

Le Grand Large is a pleasant hotel on the edge of Cancale. The rooms are spacious, clean and individualised. There's a real cottage feel. Staff were welcoming and efficient. A lovely view of the bay can be seen from the rooms. Breakfast was simple but fresh. The restaurant was also very good.

Nice place to stay when visiting Cancale, It is right at the beginning of the stretch of the main port of Cancale so a nice 3-5 minute walk along the harbour to where all the main restaurants are. It has parking for the residents and also has a restaurant, however we only ate breakfast here each day which was adequate....

We hadn't booked in advance or seen any reviews, so found Le Grand Large by chance as we drove into Cancale. The situation is perfect with views right across the bay. Free parking was a huge bonus as the rest of Cancale is pay & display. Our room was simple but fine for a 2 night stay. Comfy bed, clean...

When travelling to the Atlantic coast, I now always stay at Le Grand Large in Cancale. It is much cheaper than hotels in St. Malo, and it is located between Le Mont St. Michel and St. Malo. The hotel is on the beach in the sleepy fishing port of Cancale. Rooms are modern and very clean. Pets are welcome. Parking...

Booked this hotel on the last minute whilst travelling along the Brittany coastline. Our room was spacious and modern, with a super bathroom. We had a sea view too. The staff was friendly and helpful. Extremely pleased with our choice of hotel

I stayed here for a weekend, for the Mont Saint Michel marathon. The hotel is very well situated. The view from the bedroom (second floor) was beautiful, the room and bathroom clean, simple and correct. Parking is free. The bed was very small for a double and I couldn't find out how to use the bathroom heat, but all the...

We were due to stop in Cancale for two nights but due to a motorcycle accident we stayed longer. 3 of us (Male on a motorbike tour) stayed here. The first room we were given consisted of two rooms. 1x double and the second room which had bunk beds. Not ideal but it served a purpose. Only down side is...

Stayed at Le Grand Large in Cancale and was so pleased with this place... not only is it situated at the quiet end of the Esplanade, overlooking Baie de Mont St Michel but it also has great rooms- comfortable and very clean. The food served at this hotel is something else! When I travel I like to be able to...
