Driving down to the south of France, we wanted a stop-over near Issoire, and searched on Tripadvisor. Le Diapason is 8 minutes from the autoroute in a hamlet, Le Broc. Staff were very welcoming and we were able to check in early. The bedroom was ultra modern, large and had fantastic views. It was unbelievably comfortable, the bed and linens...

The location of this hotel was outstanding, worth the short twisting 4km, drive up from the A75. Ample parking. The bedrooms are large, with a larger than king size bed. The decoration is modern, minimalist. Large shower and high quality towels and bathrobes. The attention to detail was wonderful. The service from the staff was good. After a long drive...

Superb! Situated in a fairly remote position just south of Issoire, but well signposted once off the motorway. Accessed via the tight roads of a local village, but all changes on arrival at the hotel, perched at the top of the hill on the site of an old abbey.Good parking facilities are found to the front of a modern boutique...

We visited this hotel over Easter weekend. I can't recommend it highly enough. Located in a beautiful hill top village, situated in a renovated medieval castle. The hotel is boutique in style, lovely bedrooms with a walk in shower, and amazing view over the valley. All staff were friendly and helpful. Food was fabulous. So many superlatives but believe me,...

Hard to find, but worth it. This eagle's eerie is perched amidst the ruins of an ancient chateau. We arrived late to find a private function in full swing. However the charming owners provided us with a surprising and tasty supper. Their choice of local Auvergne wines was especially good. The rooms are surprisingly lovely and the views spectacular. The...

We were surprised by the look and feel of this hotel and restaurant, run by a masterchef and a musician. The hotel/restaurant is integrated in a centuries old ruin on a hill, overlooking a lovely panorama of the famous "puys". The design of the interior is perfect! Our room was very spacious. We loved the tv in the mirror-option! Unfortunately...

Beautiful new hotel, modern design room with beautiful shower. They had an eye for detail when building this hotel. Breakfast is different then you are used to. In the morning (or Evening before), the chef will ask you what you'd like as breakfast (so order what you want). Do try the daily menu in the restaurant. Only 29€ fort amuse-bouche,...
