We pitched our tent for an overnight stay and loved the quirky castle buildings and beautiful views so much, we stayed for a further 3 nights. As it is early in the season, some of the campsite facilities were not open, and some of the wash blocks closed. However it did not matter too much. We ordered fresh bread each... More

I found this site when hunting for campsites close to motorway on the way to Valras plage we arrived at about 6.30 in the evening reception was very busy but friendly. They booked us in and offered fresh bread for the morning,. We didn't use the facilities as it was late by the time we set up our tent for... More

Fabulous looking real castle and good location for an overnight stay on a long journey through France. The newly decorated (Ikea furnished) bedroom we had was clean and tasteful, but more B&B standard than the hotel standard we expected based on the price. And to use the toilet you needed to undress appropriately before closing the door, as there was... More

Booked for an over night stay in the camper van on the way back home and even though we were only there for the night we all loved it. Being only a few miles from the motorway made it an ideal stopover spot but the site was really quiet and peaceful. As it was late in August it wasn't busy... More

We chose this site to stop at on our way down to Spain, owing to its location not far from the motorway. We were not disappointed! It is a very well kept campsite, large shady plots with immaculate facilities. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. We loved the quirky feel, we felt like we were on a film... More

This site is perfect if you want a top quality site that is situated on the route down to the south west of France. It has a top quality feel set in the grounds of an Old castel/fort. The staff could not be more helpful and the pitches all have character. We camped here for one night down to the... More

We rented a bungalow on this campsite for two nights and really wished we had stayed longer. The campsite is based around a beautiful old chateau set in pretty grounds. The whole place just had so much atmosphere to it and although it was high season did not feel overcrowded. If you want peace and quiet with a lovely ambience... More

First and foremost this is a campsite, with campsite facilities. The accommodation in the Chateau is ok, a mixture of old and new with a fairly confused theme, a nice room let down by poor toilet facilities [cupboard with no latch]. The campsite is right next to you, and shower blocks 3 paces from the snack bar tables. Oh and don't... More

Interesting mix of hotel guests and campers - sometimes sharing things a bit too closely (ie resturant facility for evening meals was just the bar bistro for pizzas and burgers). But inside the castle its great, wonderful comfortable room, fantastic decor where its been done up, but entire site is a work in progress venue given the massive scale of... More
