On a positive note, this is a good location and I had a very warm spacious room with plenty of power points for charging phone / camera etc and double shutters on the window, ensuring a good nights sleep.
The staff were pleasant and helpful in ensuring I got a parking space.
There were some very nice decorative touches in lobby and stairway and overall, it was a cheap option for one nights stay.
However when entering the room, the first thing I noticed was that the carpet was definitely grubby and there was a stain of some kind of mold or damp on the ceiling.
There was no full length mirror to use when dressing - either in the room or the bathroom.
The bathroom itself was spacious enough but the shower was tiny and the soap tray was broken.
I am aware that it was end-of-season and perhaps that was the reason for the shabby look.
