I decided to stop at this hotel because I was tired and needed somewhere to stay for the night on a very long, very hot journey north. I wasn't expecting anything special - I was in for a surprise. The owner greeted me with a cold beer and then showed me a lovely, very reasonably priced, room with an outdoor terrace next to the small river. No restaurant in the hotel but there were a couple within walking distance just down the road. I didn't go to them so can't comment on their quality. I paddled in the river (a mill pond - the owner live in a converted mill next to the hotel and was happy for me to do so) and then sat outside reading. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast the next morning was great. Home baked roll, croissant and pain au chocolate with juice and coffee. Just perfect.
