Chose this hotel because of their bike parking and stayed for one night. The bike parking is secure, though located in a dark corner of the garage, which may be a little intimidating for some! The hotel is very close to the beach. Our room was nice - brightly coloured in a 'tropical' style and very appropriate to the relaxed...

We booked a 4 bed room at the hotel and stayed there 3 nights at the end of the season. The very narrow but air-conditioned room was equipped in a considerably Spartan way and was probably refurbished the last time some decades ago: Concrete floor, plastic chairs, and a shower in the tub without shower curtain that even lacked a...

This family run business really looks after their customers. I needed to get to Carcans in the late evening, and there was no chance of finding a taxi, so the lady helped me and drove me there herself! People like this deserve your business. The hotel itself was great, the rooms were nice and clean and the location is very...

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The manager of the hotel is super kind and you really feel home. Just 2 minutes away from the beach, shops and restaurants. We travelled with two dogs so they gave us a room with a ''terrace'' that was great and we could see the ocean from there ( our dogs had...

Friendly welcome but rooms typical drab french style.its a seaside hotel make it light and bright not badly lit and dark colours. Room not as clean as one would like but passable for a modern hotel poorly designed. Quiet and breakfast was simple but good as long as younavoid stale fruit salad. Excellent fresh croissants. A passable but not memorable...

I booked at the last minute and actually, after my check in the receptionist asked me to put the "hotel full" banner! I was grateful i could even had a room, which tells a bit about this summer season being just so-so for the industry... It rained a lot i was told... But for me, the weather was great... Not...

From the outside this hotel looks poor, do not be deceived, rooms are kwerky but good, bathroom and shower was excellent ( after 80 miles on my bike a good shower was all I wanted). Some wind noise from the window vents so if there is a storm ask for a rear room. The manager was great giving me advice...

We arrived and asked if they had room around 5pm. The old lady at the front desk very nicely offered two choices: one with view on the beach, the other downstairs. We took the one by the sea. Room is normal french size, bathroom remodeled for zen style. :) stay was quiet and clean. some ants on the ground due...

By mid October, Lacanau is quite deserted. It was good to find the L'Oyat open and functioning though with only a handful of guests. The staff were polite and very helpful. There was a man who spoke fluent English at reception. The rooms were comfortable, though I agree with the comment about the dark corridors. Some lighting would be good....
