The positive: Staff is wonderful, friendly, and kind! Rooms: very big, compared to other European hotel rooms, Good size bathroom, AC was FABULOUS! Nice hardwood floors. I had a WONDERFUL view of the beach. Great and quick access to the ocean! Negatives: Bed was sunken in the middle, like too many people had slept in them but no one flipped...

We really enjoyed our stay. Part of it was the hotel, part of it was just Hendaye. This hotel basically has its own private beach. We were there in July in high tourist season, and the beaches were pretty empty. Our room was spacious and clean. Checkin/out was polite, if not a little cool, but I did not have any...

Booked this hotel over a year ago as a treat for my husband's 70th birthday. We have visited Hendaye for several years and have looked at this hotel and spa and my husband is an avid rugby fan - so there was the connection! It did not disappoint! The Room we had was on the first floor with a balcony...

Stayed for a week with spouse and two teenager sons (13). We paid the extra for a beach view, and the family room we had (room 316) was excellent - mezzanine arrangement with sofa bed plus extra single downstairs, and double bed upstairs. Highly recommended. A lovely hotel fabulously located at a less busy end of one of the most...

I've spent 2 nights at the Serge Blanco Hotel. It was a very disappointing experience. The check in was fast but for the rest it wasn't. The room is spacious however there is no decoration at all (no flower, no painting or so, only white wall), the bathroom doesn't have a bath, which for this style of hotel isn't expected....

We stayed here for 3 nights in late August, having left things last minute and this seemed to be the last room available in Hendaye. The only room left was a mezzanine suite for 256 euros per night. When we picked ourselves up off the floor from shock, the receptionist agreed to give us the room for 198 per night...

Usually when Americans complain that the French are rude, I blame the Americans for ignorance of language and custom. However, despite the fact that I am fluent in French and highly-versed in French custom, I experienced (for the first time in my eight years of visiting France) that famed French rudeness here in Hendaye. Every single staff member at Thelassotherapie...
