Down a country lane on the outskirts of the charming medieval town of Sarlat there sits a most inviting manor house/farm converted into a tastefully elegant small hotel. Decorated in a minimalist grey and white with quirky touches such as seagrass covered walls and old farm implements and interesting objects, the interior came as a very pleasant surprise. Our room... We have just spent 4 nights at this hotel as part of a travel group. Our room was comfortable, and the hotel's substantial grounds made our stay a peaceful experience. Breakfasts were fully satisfactory, as were the evening meals. Management and staff were friendly and welcoming.

I stayed here with a tour group for a few days recently and could not recommend it more highly. Such a pleasant, peaceful spot with a beautiful pool and grounds. Rooms very comfortable and the included breakfast was excellent. The staff could not have been nicer or more friendly. A bit out of the center of Sarlat, a scenic and... More

Please ignore Travellinggirl's review. We travelled on a Riviera tour and spent 4 nights here and were really sad to leave. Along with all our group, we found it a delightful place to stay. Although it's an old building, it has been renovated in style. The rooms are spacious with modern fittings and whilst there is a lack of shelf... More

We stayed here as part of a Riviera trip and loved it. If you are not on a trip, you would need transport to get into Sarlat, which would otherwise be perhaps a 40 minute walk, but that wasn't an issue for us. The hotel doesn't have a kitchen, and I assume for independent travellers must just provide B&B accommodation,... More

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a tour holiday. The hotel is miles away from anywhere although there is a supermarket about 15 mins walk away. The rooms are decorated in a terrible style, white plastic furniture and tones of grey. Very dismal. There is no door on the bathroom which could pose a real problem for... More

Very attractive old stone building, we were told used to be a farm, set in acres of grounds with a small lake. Outdoor swimming pool and sunloungers. Lovely to hear nothing but owls and cicadas at night. We were lucky and had large balcony with chairs and table, but not many rooms had this. I found having separate loo quite... More

A hidden gem of a place. You will need to have a car or be prepared for cab journeys into Sarlat, but the "out-of-the-way" nature of this accommodation is it's strong point. The building is a modernised Manor House with various extensions. Rooms vary in size considerably. We had a superb "family" room (401) with acres of space and very... More

We came here as part of a group of 50 Riviera Travel tour, and pretty much had the place to ourselves. This old Manor House has been done up with great style, a mix of Arabic, Indian, Spanish and French. And it works. The grounds are lovely and there is a lake to walk around. We had a 2nd floor... Our first requirement is a quiet room - this we got - top floor end of corridor. Our second requirement is twin beds - this we also got and very comfortable beds they were too. The view from the window was beautiful countryside and we could sit there with the window open at aperitif hour listening to the birds singing... More
