We arrived to a very friendly welcome by Olivier the son, he kindly booked a local restaurant to eat (which was very good) as the hotel restaurant was closed on a Thursday. we were shown to our room (Cassandra) which was beautifully furnished & a really great size with a balcony & a lovely view of the garden. After our... More

We had read the great reviews and were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived we were looked after fabulously by the Moulin De Vigonac team. Everyone was very friendly, the setting is amazing, the food wonderful. This is the perfect place to stop and unwind. Our room was super and had a lovely balcony over looking the river where... An absolute find, this boutique hotel was perfect for what I and my friend looked for. Rooms very well appointed with everything you need and a HUGE bathroom. The restaurant looks over a beautiful flowing river. What really set this place apart was the owner, she could not be more helpful and gave us a late check out as we... More

We stayed here for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of this place. The hotel is to be found in a quiet location on the edge of the town but the centre is very easy to access by car or on foot. Our welcome was friendly and very genuine and the room suited us very well. Dining, including breakfast,... More

This a family run business. The son waited up until 1:00 AM to see us to our room since we were driving from Spain and it took us longer than planned to arrive. The rooms are clean and spacious. The property is well kept and quiet. We used it as our base for exploring the Dordogne Valley rather than changing... More

This charming, small hotel is one of the most delightful places we’ve ever stayed anywhere in years of traveling, and by all means one of the absolute best in France. Set on the site of a former mill close to the historic town of Brantome, the property consists of ten rooms distributed among several detached small buildings set in lovely... More

Coming from the United States, I will say from the minute we arrived we felt right at home. I cannot say enough about the family who owns and operates this establishment.. They were very accommodating, warm and welcoming. We left a piece of our heart at Moulin de Vigonac and hope to visit again someday.

This is a family run hotel and restaurant and this shows in their commitment and service. The rooms are comfortable and the facilities are good- they even provided safe storage for our bicycles. However as previously reported the food is outstanding, both at dinner and breakfast. It was a delight to stay here.

This is a wonderful place in a great location. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel most welcome in this family run hotel. A huge amount of care was shown to the needs of clients. Our ensuite bedroom was luxurious, well appointed and with top quality linen and toiletries and a very comfortable bed. The restaurant was... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. The location is beautiful, floral, perfumed, gloriously green, warm and relaxing. Olivier and his family are down to earth and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was an amazing array of pastries, fresh fruit salad, home made crepes and fluffy eggs. We thought it couldn't get any... More
