I am a fan of Estelle and Charles Hugaud and have written about the restaurant before. The place is beuatifully and thoughtfully renovated and decorated in an ecclectic mix between shabby chic and top end ethnic memorabilia. It is very quiet and relaxed. The owners go out of their way to assist in planning your holiday (beaches, restaurant bookings, boat...

Great boutique hotel. Rooms are decorated in French chic style. Very cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Owners are helpful and nice. The food is the best. Always fresh fish straight in from Bassin du Arcachon prepared on the grill. Breakfast is delicious and beautifully presented. This is a hidden gem you would wish you'd heard of. Enjoy.

We stayed last week. The hotel and rooms are comfortable, newly refurbished but expensive for what you get. Service however is severely lacking. The lady who works at the reception has no concept of what it means to look after her guests. A request for a second duvet was met with a blunt no, not possible. The lock on the...

We were just having a quick two day, one night trip to Arcachon to have a look round and visit the sand dune. We found this hotel on-line and booked on the strength of previous reviews, it's location and the fact it had wifi and parking. I have to say we were not disappointed. The hotel was pure joy and...

This is a thoughtfully restored house just as stones throw from the waters edge in a quiet side street. The room we had was not huge but had French doors looking onto the street so felt quite airy. The rooms are simply furnished but have the boutique feel. I loved the Hermes shower gel. In fact the shower itself was...

The hotel is situated just outside the town centre, so close enough to walk back to in the evening and far enough out not to suffer from town centre noise. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful, recommending places to go and restaurants to eat at. The deluxe double room was not big but was quite stylish and very comfortable....

My boyfriend and I booked to stay here for our first holiday away together. Both of us are very interested in interiors and this place was just the sort of thing we like! The Hotel has only been open for 2 months since being beautifully fully renovated by Estelle and her husband. There are lots of object d'art around the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
After owners' change and on one year of heavy works and decoration, the hotel opened its doors for the season 2014. Place in the center of Arcachon, in 40 meters of the beach, in a quiet street, our charming hotel of style arcachonnais have elegant rooms with balcony or terrace, privative bathroom and Italian-style shower. We notice immediately the care brought to the choice of the furniture, to the selection of materials. An exceptional place, designed for the well-being and far from the concept of the hotel large sets. A haven of peace thought to favor relaxation and intimacy. The decoration and the atmosphere are unique in every space, contributing to create unforgettable moments. ... more   less
