Visited Agen as our our first choice Mont du Marsan was a bit of a tip...! (We were in fact travelling from Bilbao to St Malo on a two week tour of France...) we were pleasantly surprised by the location of the hotel which a very easy, short walk into the centre of this very ordinary but quaint French town.... The Stim 'Otel is very good value for money. It is well located for the railway station and shopping, and has an underground car-park adjacent (independently run). Rooms are clean and well-appointed for a budget hotel, staff are friendly, efficient and multi-lingual.

Hotel was ok (clean, functional, etc) and staff were very pleasant. Air conditioning not operating - window open was ok but noisy. Area is a bit rough, and bicycles stolen from inside hotel day prior made us uncomfortable- and led us to move bikes to our room.

This budget hotel has a very central location, allowing access to the shopping streets, historic centre, and railway station without going through the seedy fringes of this rather down-at-heel town. The exterior is ugly concrete, and the room decor is not modern. However, the functional design is almost perfect. The very small room has excellent storage, with a subsiduary shelf beneath the desk and bedside tables, lots of... More

The building itself would merit an average three out of five, but the friendly and very helpful staff will make you enjoy your stay. It is an older 1970's building. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. Location is excellent by downtown, close to everything. Staff will try to accommodate and help you in all your needs with a smile.... More

I booked for 1 night but after I arrived I asked for a 2nd night, which was quickly accommodated. The staff here are friendly and efficient. They speak excellent English and don't grimace at butchered French. The location is excellent - a few blocks from the train station, buses run past the door and the shopping area is 3 min... More

I stayed here for 4 nights in late July (2015). Very clean. Very nice and helpful staff. Central Agen location--close to lots of restaurants and the museums, theatre, etc. If I go to the same conference next year I'm sure I'll elect to stay at this hotel again.

Perfect place to stay for business in Agen. Good location for centre of town. Nearby to shops and bars and restaurants. Car park directly behind with good rates. I would use this hotel every time for visiting Foulayronnes and IFTS. Service is perfect.

I highly recommend not staying at this hotel is you plan on using your credit card to pay for your stay. The only time I used my credit card during my stay in France was at the Stim'Otel and a couple of weeks after I got home I found out that my card had been compromised. There was no one... More

I travelled here on business for two nights. The hotel is in a decent location in Agen - close to shops, restaurants and the train station. The rooms are small but have been recently renovated. Although the improvements seemed somewhat half-hearted: a lick of paint on the walls but no shower curtain; the bedding is very old fashioned; air conditioner... More
