Difficult to access the territory at night - the speaker phone at entry does not work, had to check with neighbor Ibis to call then and let us in. When finally entered – outdoor parking available with enough space. Hotel staff is not cordial (every staff person). Room is old. Beds for kids are not comfy. Slept well. In front of the room in the morning found a bunch of laundry carts difficult to pass. Breakfast was not bad, but the worst among any other 4-star Novotels visited so far. First hotel among any Accor hotels in some years that did not offer the welcome drinks for the family (4 people) but for me only. On my remark that any other Accor hotel was always offering 4 drinks without any demand from my side replied “1 drink is in the contract”. I refused to take any then, do not appreciate cheapskates. Will not come again.

Plain and simple - this place should ONLY be used as a last resort for passing through. No air-con, average (at best) food and a beer costing £7.50 a pint. What a rip-off. Staff are friendly enough but don’t go out of their way to do anything but their job. Car parking is OK though a little exposed to the main road.

Stayed with my wife the night 24/25, arrival around 20:00. Dinner - simple starter and a salad ordered. It took 1,5h to get this served!! The server informed us at the end of the meal that they had about 60 persons in an adjacent room and this was the reason they could not attend to us more quickly. Really bad!! In addition, as it was very warm outside we really needed AC in our room to sleep. Did not work! We could not sleep much that night - quite terrible! We told the man in the reception in the morning that we were not satisfied and that the AC did not work. He told us that there was not AC system for the rooms, just ventilation and that this will be installed in a few years. No effort to see if he could compensate us. I have also completed the earlier survey sent by the hotel directly after we left giving the same info as above and my coordinates so they can reach us. As of now, June 30 I have not received any answer. The Accor group need to deal with this hotel and maybe even the management!

Overnight stop en-route to a ski holliday, the hotel is close to Mulhouse city and a 15 minutes drive from the Swiss border in Basel. Low rise with only a ground- and first floor. Our room was perfect for two adults and 2 children, relatively large, with not a sleeper sofa but 2 separate rollaways. The bathroom was modern, the only downside was that we requested a bath and got a shower. The breakfast area is small but with adequate warm and cold food offerings.I noticed a small outdoor pool, nice for a summer stop...

Was really looking forward to staying here as a stopover for one night but was very disappointed it was the Worst hotel of are entire months holiday. Stayed here for one night, In the morning we went down for breakfast all the food had flies crawling all over it "everywhere" there were even wasps stuck wriggling in the jam nothing was covered & the doors were left wide open. We started eating then gave up 2 days later both my daughters had sick bugs which ruined the first part of our holiday,We have stayed at Novotels for many years but have noticed a real decline in there quality & hygiene in recent years even down to paper cups in the rooms and hardly any tea or coffee and old tatty decor
