We loved this hotel! Very good location, beautiful decoration and design, and very peaceful. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the overall service was excellent. We got an upgrade in a lovely room and will definitly be back :)

La Signoria is a beautiful place! You're captivated by the setting from the moment you enter the estate... a long driveway surrounded by ancient Italian stone pine trees with gorgeous, natural gardens... simple, open, welcoming. You're eager to explore it all. The service is top notch; friendly and professional. You don't feel you're staying in a hotel. The rooms are...

We stayed here a while ago on our honeymoon. I am still shocked at how bad the service was. They made no mention of it being our honeymoon - nothing left in the room or even a "congratulations". We had an excursion booked which we had to get up very early for. When we made it to reception for 7am...

We didn't stay at the hotel, but following the advice of the local people went for a dinner at the hotel restaurant ! Its definitely the Michelin level restaurant . Exquisite gastronomic menu, unexpected combinations, new tastes and elegant presentation! It is amassing ! If you are into gourmet food: a must go place:)

We stayed for one night in July - stunning setting, amazing views and our €500 a night suite absolutely beautiful. Both the grounds and interiors faultless. However - unless you're a Russian oligarch or happen to be called Wayne Rooney I'd strongly recommend giving La Signoria a wide berth. It wasn't the €35 euro club sandwich (no fries - they're...

Wonderful Location and Fantastic Staff. Booked the family appartment which is perfect for parents with two kids with separate rooms on two floirs. Both restaurants are excellent, the Bistrot surprised.

The hotel had a unique feel and some touches of humour with the artwork. Our room was lovely, and we loved the bar area. Had an amazing omelette for breakfast, and the taster menu was good too. Service was excellent, the pool area is lovely, although the weather was not so good when we were there so the jacuzzi was...

We stayed at La Signoria for two nights as part of our honeymoon in France. The property is stunning, and we loved the decor of the rooms. We were upgraded to a two room suite (two bathrooms with two tubs!). The views to the mountains are stunning - at sunset the mountains and sky glow with purples and pinks. This...

Thank you La Signoria....we had a great stay.....unfortunately too short! Beautiful hot tub and swimming pool. Such a beautiful property. Really private rooms. The view from the terrace on the mountains is outstanding! Will be back!

We finally arrived at La Signoria after a fraught flight (with a stop off in Sardinia due to thunderstorms) and it was like arriving at an oasis. The hotel very kindly upgraded us so we stayed in a suite with balcony and great views for storm watching. The staff were truly superb - they understood our requests for restaurants (casual,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
"At the gates of Calvi" the old Genoese estate of Paratella once granted by King Louis XV of Mr Murat Serpriere, now houses its guests in 27 rooms, Suites and Villas customized. Isolated in this charming 18th century, the rooms open onto the Bonifato Valley and offer a panoramic view of the mountains bordering the coast. A 3 km from the sea and 4 km from the city center of Calvi, in a park of 3 hectares of Mediterranean accents - Eucalyptus, palm, olive and pine trees reminiscent of the beautiful place of eternity - here everything is quiet, calm and voluptuousness . One area in nature, ten minutes from Calvi, through forests and hills. Corsica and especially a visceral and authentic that appears in the layout, decor and atmosphere created by the owner Jean-Baptiste Ceccaldi. A house to live to learn more about the Corsican soul, nice rooms, which open on the mountains, indigenous materials, wood, terracotta, of great refinement in sobriety, large suites with pool and private garden and a service tailored to the wishes of the residents. New Spa 100% organic cosmetic line associated with a bio-Corsican. Meeting space for this year. The hotel "La Signoria" also called "A casa Ceccaldi," is undoubtedly one of the finest luxury hotels in Corsica. The former estate of Paratella is the source of this lovely building. Built under the influence of the Genoese island, the estate was then granted Mr Murat the Serpriere by Louis XV. Today, this wonderful home exceptional charm, surrounded by a beautiful park, well deserves its fame. Fascinating in its beauty, we could stay for hours to watch. Stroll through this garden of 3 hectares, while savoring the smell of the maquis and orange trees, singing fountains, will be a real fun time! It is in this extraordinary setting that welcomes guests to the Signoria. The Signoria has 27 Rooms and Suites customized, single-storey opening onto the gardens and terraces, with magnificent views of the mountains and the valley Bonifato. All offer luxury and amenities of a 5 star hotel. Here, the union of different styles from several periods, with an exotic note, is a success and elegance is still present. The Signoria also has 5 luxury villas, all stone, with private pool and garden ... more   less
