We had a quadruple room that was small with the AC not fully functioning. The more important warning is to have them check the room with you before you leave. They charged us 150 euro after we left for "destroying" a chair that we didn't even use!

We've just had an amazing 9 day holiday staying at the Christophe Columb and have nothing but praise for the team who work here. Our 3 children had an ensuite room with adjoining door. The rooms were situated at the back of the hotel, were spacious, silent, shuttered with blackout curtains, spacious comfortable beds and are all newly furnished and squeaky...

VERY VERY NOISY!!! The hotel is centrally located near the center and the port but avoid requesting the "seaview"... our room on the 3rd floor was just above the very noisy restaurant of the hotel, across a main street, heavy traffic and a very high level of noise until well after midnight. Since you cant see much of anything of the...

This is maybe not everybody place but we like the location of the place, they put us in the room that facing to the citadel and the park. Room itself is quite small just like anywhere in Corsica so that is not really an issue for us. The only problem is that theres not enough socket to plug our electronic...

Great location! Unfortunately, that's pretty much all this place has really got right. It could be a fabulous little boutique hotel, but then I suppose that doesn't really seem to be the Corsican way. Our room was okay, although it was a few flights up and the lift is only big enough for one person at a time. Spacious it...

Great place to stay if you wish to visit Calví. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly giving us great tips of what to see, where to eat. The rooms are clean, comfortable and we had a wonderful sea view. The hotel has a nice modern retro style which also very interesting. The breakfast buffee was very good with fresh...

The neon sign outside the hotel has a burnt out third star. I suspect it is no coinsidence!!! This hotel not only demands a first night deposit but requires 8 days notice of a reservation change. At the time of check-in we told them that we would only be staying three nights rather than four because we had to catch...

The room we got smelled damp and was dark. The toilet didn't work properly so we had to pour water in it to make the things go down. The breakfast was ok but a bit small and uninspired. The artwork was nice in the commons area and so was the old pictures. It was not good value for money.

Stayed for a week during a semi-business / semi-fun trip with family (2 young kids and wife). Overall, not bad, but you need to know what to expect! Overall, hotel was clean and pleasant. I did not find the rude front desk people, at least any rudeness was put down with some added politeness (restaurant may be another story...male waiters...

Reasons for my comments:- 1. Hospitaity is very bad. Receptionist is very cold and rude, as if you are disturbing them. No ideas of how to value customers. 2. Rooms are not value for money. Standard is poor. 3. Restaurant Service: Again unpleasant. Also witness the owner shouting at one of her kitchen person in front of all customers. She...

“Definitely request a room at the back side of the hotel, far away from the noisy street and the heavy traffic, you won't miss the far away "seaview" obscured anyway by the restaurant owned by the hotel. We thought about having breakfast there until we learned it was 12€ each. We got coffee and a croissant at a local coffee bar and had dinner at the port.”
