Went there with my wife and her family for Holly Week. Las time I was there was 10 years ago approx as that was our first night as newlywed couple. Compare to that time, the pool lack of food and beverage service, pool towels, the breakfast was very greasy, the restaurant is too expensive and the food isn't that great,...

My wife and I stayed for a night to be close to airport last night of an several week vacation in CR and loved it. The main entrance has beautiful woods and it leads to restaurant and balcony over looking the very large pool. A golf cart took our bags to our room in one of the many buildings. The...

The hotel is very nice and situated not far from the airport. The rooms are specious, comfortable, clean and very quiet. Breakfast was very good. There is a nice pool and a spa. Hotel staff are polite and helpful. It is highly recommended.

Me and my friends had a night to spend around San Jose before our flight, we met someone who said we must go to this beautiful hotel. The price was great, the breakfast excellent. The owner is Italian and he has great taste, we enjoyed so much and wished we stayed longer! I really do recommend this place, it's like...

A decent place at a decent price per night. A few too many dugarants for my liking. A golf cart at your disposal was a big plus for me. Restaurant is very good with an Italian flair. Pool is huge but few takers. Several hammocks much to my liking. Restful place in my opinion and fairly close to the airport.

We went for lunch and toured the grounds. The lunch was quite good and well presented. There was a nice selection of different foods than what is usually served here in Costa Rica. We found the property pretty but showing signs of wear, with a lot of deferred maintenance.

This is a lovely hotel just outside San Jose. My husband and I stayed here as part of a wedding party. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A couple of them speak very good English. Transportation to airport on our way back home was easy to set up, however when we first got to CR they told us they...

A lot of good things about the hotel: great pool, nice breakfast included that you can eat on their balcony, and an overall nice room. The decor was a mix of fake ancient roman and fake Aztec which was kind of obnoxious but didn't spoil it for me. The owner is Italian and I wish he'd realize that when tourists...

This place was stuck in a time warp. Pretty interesting wooden doors, hand carved. Bathroom ceiling was falling down, and there was a piece of glass missing from the window. $100.00 a night in high season with continental breakfast, and pretty secure. There was a party on property, and they were loudly screaming, and singing, with fireworks or gunshots in...

While traveling with family to bust property in southern Costa Rica, we spent our first evening upon arrival at the Resort Martino Hotel and Spa. The main building features impressive stone and woodwork and an Italian restaurant that overlooks the pool and hotel grounds, as well as the actual sleeping buildings. The buildings that house the rooms all have exquisite,...
