Read the history of the hotel before going. It is an absolutely beautiful hotel with a traditional Italian design. We were only passing through for a night during a slow part of the year, but I would have loved to stay for an entire week. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the owners were present as well to offer... More

I visited the hotel, specifically the restaurant (Foccaccia di Martino). Good food and very nice environment for a sunday's lunch. Personnel are very kind and they will make you feel special. The only grey point I would mention is the cleaness of the restrooms, that has improvement opportunities.

This place was a gem in the middle of the city. We had booked two rooms -one for us and one for the kids. I was impressed with the very clean rooms and facilities, the pool and buffet breakfast. I would definitely stay here again as it is a hidden gem!

I stayed at this hotel for a full week and I was very happy with the accommodations. The hotel is a little dated; but everything was in good working condition. As you enter the room you'll notice a beautiful handcrafted door, a different design on each room. The hotel grounds are well kept and the pool area is very nice.... More

Hotel Martino Spa & Resort Challenges: 1. Animals in the crawl space (all night long - no sleep) 2. No shower pressure 3. Refrigerator had problems 4. Ants in the room 5. Services (exception of the refrigerator) were pretty good and the grounds were okay 6. Trip insurance was USELESS!!!

Anyway if can tell us in which room you stayed, the dates you were here and if you have asked to... More

This hotel is a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the San Jose area. The property is beautiful with a variety of flowers, plants, and birds. We even saw a few iguanas! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the pool, as well.

Went there with my wife and her family for Holly Week. Las time I was there was 10 years ago approx as that was our first night as newlywed couple. Compare to that time, the pool lack of food and beverage service, pool towels, the breakfast was very greasy, the restaurant is too expensive and the food isn't that great,... More

The hotel is very nice and situated not far from the airport. The rooms are specious, comfortable, clean and very quiet. Breakfast was very good. There is a nice pool and a spa. Hotel staff are polite and helpful. It is highly recommended.
