An older resort full of charm. Stunning main building and pool area. We were taken to our room via golf cart after being escorted to the parking area. Our room on the 2nd floor was beautiful overlooking the pool. The lobby in our building was amazing I'm sure the ceilings were 15' high and the carvings on each room door...

On the plus side are the very convenient location near the airport and the beauty of the scenery. It is in altitude, calm and peaceful and with nice views. Staff is super friendly and very welcoming. On the minus side, the pool Is beautiful but the water was so cold that we couldn't use it. And I never saw anyone...

This is a small hotel about a 15 minute and US$25 taxi NW of the airport (in the direction away from San Jose), in a beautiful, quiet countryside location. The rooms are spacious and clean with nice balconies (ours overlooked the pool). Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were OK, although the same every day. The restaurant was excellent with...

The restaurant offers an Italian selection, a bit pricey but great food. Overall BEAUTIFUL place to stay, with a massive pool and a lovely old fashion European feel. Wish we could...

European style statues, the wood details and antique tile s just breath taking. The view from the dinning room balcony was second to none. Please do your...

To be close to the airport for an early flight, we stayed here and were very happy getting much more than a great location: spacious, very clean room, with the flavor and ambiance of an Italian Villa! Room had 2 double beds, bathroom (with bidet!), a sink outside the bathroom, shelves, open closet, a desk and 2 very comfortable sitting...

After an afternoon arrival in San Jose, we stayed our first night at the beautiful Hotel Martino, just a 15 minute ride from the airport. Traffic in San Jose can be overwhelming, but the location of this hotel allows you to miss it. Zooave, a great rehabilitation zoo, is located across the road for a $20 entrance fee. Zooave is...

It was perfect place to stay . The price was awesome and it felt like a 4 star resort. Staff was helpful and friendly. I will stay here again. It is centrally located and the local animal sanctuary was cool.
