(This is a review of DP restaurant by the road, not one next to the Mreznica river): food here is mostly ok, but one time it's excellent and the next time it's dissapointing. It seems there's one inspired, excellent chef working there, but with no matching replacement in the other shift. We come here often because there's not much choice in the area. Even if we order a ready meal or a salad, we wait for too long, every time, so don't arrive hungry. The interior could use a few improvements, like better lighting, a few new chairs etc. We were charged 3kn for bread we didn't ask for and didn't eat and 2kn for a "doggy bag" box :/ Even though it's clear that big efforts are made in improving service there in general, it seems there are some holes in implementation. The food, the atmosphere, the interior and the staff are much better in the restaurant by the river…
Best food I ever tasted. Especialy vegeterian food and sweets. Nice place near beautiful river Mrežnica.Pure and refresing.Staff very professional and nice. Place to visit if you travel trough Croatia.
It was pleasant surprise for me especially after I saw a narrow and steep road leading to the restaurant. At first, I warned owner about navigation problems via Google and he reacted in the second (bravo!)! We ate trout chips, mushroom soup, barbecue and breaded ice cream. The service was great, especially one employee (blonde girl) who patiently answered my every question. You definitely get value for your money. Looking forward to coming again.
We come to DP whenever we are in Croatia and longing for a meal we know we'll remember for a long time. À la cart menu is really long and adjusted seasonally. And every time the dishes and the staff were amazing.
I regularly come here for a lunch or a dinner and they have always served good food. Usually they have some seasonal dishes and they are fresh and tastefull. The same was this time. I had a pasta with prawns. But, they have probaly translated the dishes by Google translator, so you can order smallpox. Before you call the epidemiology Department be aware that prawns and smallpox sound the same in Croatian!
